We stayed here as a family for a weekend to use as a base for a local event. The hotel was clean, comfortable and the room sizes were fine. Conveniently situated just outside the town centre, and a comfortable bar and breakfast/dining room. Breakfasts were good value, and the evening meal was fine. We would use the hotel again if returning to the area.

Just stopped here for first night of weekend, very clean and tidy, plenty of parking and staff very friendly. Not too expensive if you book couple weeks before date. Food good at restaurant attached, very busy.

Room Tip: Think all rooms are very similar, we had spare bed in our room and looked out over back of car park...

Stayed for 2 nights for a wedding. Room was far too hot - i am talking sauna level. We had the fan on all night and i had to manoeuvre the bed and pillows so i was right under the window. Tried turning the heating down but it did not work properly.
Apart from that the room was good standard for budget hotel. Kettle and tea bags provided too.
Restaurant next to hotel served a good breakfast and a varied menu for the evening meal.
We requested at least one ground floor room as some of our party have walking difficulties and this was sorted. The bath was very deep which made it difficult for the oldies to get in to have a shower.
Bonus was a free car park

This was the last two nights on our trip around the Lake District and Scotland all staying in Premier Inns. It was a lovely hotel and just what you ask for when booking a Premier Inn.

Our only gripe was that the hotel rooms are to warm. It wasn't particularly warm outside but the room was showing a temperature of 25 degrees. There was a fan in the hotel room, and we even supplied our own standing fan, and it seemed impossible to get the temperature down. The lowest we saw was 24 degrees at about 8am, and that is with the fans running on full power 24 hours a day, and with the curtains closed. I know staff say there is nothing they can do, and I get that, but when you are stuck in a small room with a window that opens very slightly and a temperature of 25 degrees when outside it's not that warm, it's a little annoying

One recommendation for anyone staying is that you book a table for the restaurant especially if it's a weekend as it gets busy. we were very lucky to get a reservation, as it's clearly very popular, especially with the buffet nights on. Restaurant staff are amazing. Will do any thing to help, and we greatly acknowledged that.

A very clean hotel, only qualm was there was a stain on the sheets, but it was on a flat sheet I had requested so we didn't have to use the duvet with it being so warm, and this sheet was clearly newly washed, so I knew it was ok.

A brilliant hotel. And well worth a visit!

Clean, well sized room, this place sorted us out. The bed and the bedding was comfortable, we had a solid nights sleep and I would definitely stay there again. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Only downside was that the shower was a bit pants.

Overall satisfied with my stay. Hotel room was clean and spacious, but still it felt like I overpaid given the overall quality and location. I would give it an extra half a star for the quality of the food served in the family bar next door.

Very clean with efficient staff and comfortable accomadation. We stayed on a deal, making it very good value for money. We also had breakfast which was excellent quality with plenty of choice. Will stay here again without hesitation.
