“The Thin White Duke would not be so thin ...”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 June 2014

We just dined at Ziggys! The decor and the background music are absolutely fabulous. Seriously cool 60s stuff, with some impressive memorabilia. The staff are Scottish sweeties, friendly, funny, and very welcoming. The food is kind of pub fare / burger bar but perfectly edible! Our only negative - the servings are overwhelming. For many people this would be ok, but for us? A bit too much... Great fun though, and the place began to fill up with men who parked their golf clubs outside the door, so we left just in the nick of time. Debbie Harry - We miss you. X

“Great Place to eat”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 June 2014

Lively restaurant to eat. Waitresses a great laugh making sure you enjoy your visit. The Fillet steak, Chicken wings (God they're hot!) and the Ribs are a must. If you are there a week go twice...Would highly recommend

“Poor food, poor service and rude waiting staff”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 June 2014

The service was really poor, there were only 2 other tables in but it was still very slow. The waiting staff seemed to be sitting around chatting rather than looking after the customers. I mentioned the poor service when I was paying the bill and the waitress told me she did have other things to do! The food was also very poor, the chilli nachos were very greasy and the children's pizza was also greasy. My son lives on pizza but he left most of it. Very disappointing and we won't be going back, despite living in St Andrews.

“Music inspired steakhouse - like Hard Rock Cafe”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 June 2014

The walls are covered by music memorabilia, mainly posters.
The lunch menu of 2 choices was good. Both of us chose the Nachos as starter and Cesar Salad as main. The beer selection was 4 locals + ca 10 others. The service was friendly, helpful and professional.
The Nachos were quite plain with cheese and sour cream and very limited amount of guacamole.
The main course was clearly more tasty, crisp salad, some good bacon and with the sauce on the side (we used less than half).
