we drove over 20 miles to eat here and it was well worth the effort. Ordered haddock and chips (small portion £7.25) and it was superb! - lovely light batter, not greasy (although cooked in beef fat), and chips come in a little basket and you can ask for more as you want them - we liked not having a massive load of chips on our plates, but the waitress soon fetched more for us later. We returned the following day, and had Arbroath smokie and that was excellent as well. Lovely homemade lemon tart and icecream was great - the local Eden Brewery beer Clock Brew is really good as well, and they have some nice wines on the menu that you can order by the glass. Waitresses were really helpful - highly recommended place to eat!
