We had a very enjoyable meal at the Road Hole Bar. The place is listed under nightlife, but we went for dinner which was great. Casual fare such as burgers and fish and chips in a relaxed bar setting. We didn't eat at the Road Hole Restaurant, but for a casual dinner or drinks this place is great. On the 4th floor of the Old Course hotel, the Bar is lined with windows that overlook the Road Hole or 17th hole (no surprise there). There was a piano player and it was great to watch the golfers come around the course. They also have an outdoor space (for when the weather is good). Would recommend this for a drink or casual dinner in St. Andrews.
