“Fabulous get away in St Andrews”

A weekend stay at the Whins Cottage hit all the right marks, the central location means that you can enjoy the town or the beach car-free, a novel experience that added to our chill-out weekend away. The cottage is kitted out with all you could wish for, contemporary and light with floor to ceiling picture window looking onto the garden, wet rooms, comfy beds and a modern heating system which makes the cottage a cosy year-round retreat. Owners Ian and Sheila were available to help with tips on restaurants, walks and local tours. All in a fantastic cottage which deserves a return visit. We'll be back!

“Heavenly haven in heart of the gorgeous St Andrews”
Reviewed 25 July 2012 for a stay in July 2012

Luxurious "Cottage" in a secluded haven in the midst of the bustling town. High standard of accomodation throughout. Close to all attractions. Parking no hassle at all. Extremely warm and friendly welcome to the property from Sheila and Ian. Definately be back.

We enjoyed a wonderful few days at The Whins cottage. Fantastic facilities, sunny secluded garden within metres of the old course and west sands. Stunning floor to ceiling glass wall in the lounge. Comfortable, bright ,warm cottage with five star mod cons, including the power showers!! Thanks for making this a relaxing stay and we hope to be back very soon.
