“Skill on the putting greens”
Reviewed 24 April 2014

This putting green will test even the scratch golfer as you have to read the contours of the green which is more like a series of minature mountains than a putting greem, Immense fun, but beware, your wife may beat you!

“Brings you down to earth with a bump.”

Great fun mini putting green right next to the Old Course. Lots of fun and great preparation for the links.

“Great fun!”
Reviewed 20 April 2014

Most municipal putting greens are a bit of a joke, with badly kept greens, rubber golf balls and poor layouts. You'd expect St Andrews to be different and it certainly is. The Himalayas course is beautifully laid out, well kept and offers a good challenge to established and novice golfers alike. All for £2 a head!

“Fab as always”
Reviewed 12 April 2014

I have been visiting and playing on the Himalayas for many years now, and it never gets boring! Although I have no interest or talent for golf, it doesn't matter, and anyone can win on the day! We always score the holes, and the winner has to buy the ice creams! They seem to have lost their sign with opening times and prices, which is unfortunate, but it opened at 10:30 when we were there, although there was no sign of life at 10!

“Great fun for those old enough to know better”
Reviewed 23 March 2014

Had a great afternoon in St Andrews with friends. We finished off the afternoon with a fun competition playing the "Himalayas". Great fun for adults and exceptionally good quality greens. Windy weather made it all the more interesting/unpredictable so having no golfing skills, I was not left too far behind the others. Now I can boast that I have played the ancient game at St Andrews !
