We always start our golf visits in St. Andrews at the Himalayas. We always do it at night. We always do it under the influence of jet lag and whisky. We make up our holes as we go and we always have a blast. If you go in the late spring and summer you can even play really late. A must stop any-time you visit. BTW after hours there isn't a charge but during the day not only is there a green fee but the crowds can be thick, the skill sets low and the time to play can drag--thus our night putting scheme.
