“Lovely place for walks and a family day out.”
Reviewed 11 April 2014

We had a lovely day at Cambo this week walking around the grounds. Beautiful well kept grounds, great flowers and gift shop and even free events. The two kids with our party also took part in a free stone carving workshop which was excellent. And the cafe is dog friendly. Lovely!

“Good walking.”
Reviewed 16 March 2014

Whether it's the walled garden or the woodland walk, a very peaceful and enjoyable time can be spent here. A path leads down to the shore and if birdwatching is your thing then eider ducks, redshanks, oyster catchers among others can be seen.
There is a lovely courtard tearoom for snacks and drinks but both the goods in the gift shop and the plants for sale are grossly overpriced.

“one of my favourite places.”
Reviewed 16 March 2014

Wonderful experience. Loads to see walking in woodlands or down by the sea.Lovely plant sale area and tea room. Home made soup and home made rolls excellent.
I live nearby so buy the season ticket for 25 pounds then myself and whole family get in free all year.Kids love it , especially feeding the pigs and following the magic trail.

“Inspring colors and Inventive Use of Plants”
Reviewed 11 March 2014

We spent a very pleasant afternoon wandering through the Cambo Estate gardens. We thoroughly enjoyed strolling along the paths and discovering interesting sections and interesting plants. The garden are laid out wonderfully, but are not rigidly formal. Anyone who gardens, loves plants and flowers or just likes being outdoors will enjoy spending time here. We walked from the village and even the stroll down the long entrance drive was beautiful and enjoyable.

“Best dispay of snowdrops in Scotland”
Reviewed 6 March 2014

At this time of year the snowdrops are out in force scattered along the woodland walks down to the shore ....there is always something on when we visit with displays of drystane dyking also the innovative use of Tamworth Pigs to clear ivy and scrubland. They have a lovely tearoom and shop and also sell a large variety of plants. The house also does flats with bed & Breakfast....well worth a wee look ...The gardens will come into there own from April onwards and attracts artists by the score with the many varied views
