“Authentic looking establishment, with reminders of its past.”
Reviewed 21 September 2012

Good Choice: of Ales wines and other beverages as well as a selection of food from Snacks to meals.
Ok it had a flat screen TV, but this didn't really detract from the new purpose of this establishment. Service with a smile - even though the barmans colleague had left him in the lurch - he was able to satisafy most of the reuests in a reasonable time, ut then it was mid afternoon and we were not in any rush just soaking up the atmosphere.

Most definitely well worth the visit

“More than OK”
Reviewed 28 August 2012

We were visiting Glasgow, and needed a shelter, because it had been pooring for over half an hour. Around the corner we saw a fine pub and we decided to enter, and that was not a bad choice. Friendly staff, fine drinks, charming pub and a good atmosphere, what more do you want?
