So delicious. This place is fantastic and the traditional menues will amaze you! Its also very quirky. The crockery is cute and vintage and the decor is like a posh grandma's living room... But it is so cool!

We found this restaurant in a basement in Bath Street for a late lunch on the final day of our city break in Glasgow. The joy started before eating the first mouthful of food. The decor was an eclectic mix of furniture and ceramic tiles that just seemed to work in perfect harmony and then there was the menu. It was a joy to read and amusing in the extreme. If the menu could amuse so much the food must surely please as well.
It did, and the three of us ate some wonderful and unusual food, served on antique china by very friendly and helpful staff. We lingered over the meal and enjoyed the whole experience so much. The prices were modest, and that from a restaurant which seems to be waging a successful war on anorexia, was all the more impressive! We look forward to returning again to this restaurant every time we visit Glasgow

My last night in Glasgow brought me to this basement-level restaurant/pub. It was pretty quiet since it was a Sun night, but contained a boisterous table of Italians which gave a festive atmosphere. My table setting was cute with a single tall candle.

The menu is fun to read (you can preview it on their website) and the waitress also provided additional suggestions.

I was craving a steak, so I went for the sirloin and it came out huge and a little tough - but tasty! A couple of gin & tonics also went well with the plate. The service was friendly and not rushed. Overall a very relaxing experience.

We loved this restaurant and the bar part also. The venue is like a tea lounge with mismatched crockery & table cloths with quirky décor. Enjoyed a very tasty steak pie (nicest one I have ever had) and returned a second night to enjoyed a yummy burger with really amazing fries. Staff were friendly. The bill came with a little piece of coconut cake-mmmm. This venue is a short walk from the top of Buchanan Street.
