“Friends Celebrate 60th birthdays”
Reviewed 7 August 2014

Two friends and me travelled from Aberdeen to have afternoon tea at the Butterfly and The Pig in celebration of our 60th birthdays. This tea room was recommended by my two nieces. We were not disappointed. We all had a lovely afternoon tea, the staff were lovely, helpful but not in your faces. The sandwiches were real sandwiches not wafer thin and the scones and cakes were to die for. Also you get a oatcake with salmon which was very tasty to start. We pressco to help this all to go down well. We will be back and we will be letting our friends know about this tea room in Glasgow. This tea room is really quirky and reminded us of when our mum'e entertained friends in their own living rooms to afternoon tea. First Class

“Classy afternoon tea.”
Reviewed 5 August 2014

Had afternoon tea, during the Commonwealth Games.
The restaurant was fairly busy, but the waitress was excellent, took us through everything, and nothing was too much trouble. Processco, followed by tea, sandwiches and cake was of a very high standard.
Didn't go as far of having some of the delicious looking cakes in the cooler, but they looked amazing.
Very highly recommended.

“Wonderful Tea Room”
Reviewed 5 August 2014

Was in Glasgow for the commonwealth games, after a rainy day of watching the games we decided that a good cup of tea and a slice of cake was in order, after taking to the Tourist information centre, they all recommended this little gem,
It was wonderful, a lovely choice / range of Teas and an excellent range of cakes and really good portions. too many to choose so the staff offered to give me a split portion of two different cakes rather just one large cake. The room was very well decorated, very quirky and the staff was great very knowledgeable and attentive,
If you go to glasglow you must try it.

“quirky and very very tasty”
Reviewed 4 August 2014

We arived in Glasgow earlier for the first time and used TA to find a place to eat. The reviews for this place got it spot on, it's quirky and has very attentive staff. They give large portions and I am now royally stuffed. This place is a must when visiting the area.

“Brilliant find!”
Reviewed 4 August 2014 via mobile

After a quick search of 'gluten free food Glasgow' this popped up. So we thought we would give it a try. My partner and 2 year old son are both ceoliacs. Nearly everything on the menu was GF or could be adapted to be GF. There was so much to choose from. My son got soup and some nice GF toasted bread. This was the nicest soup I have ever tasted! Portions were huge, service was brilliant. The young man serving our table was very efficient and chatting away to my son. Lovely little place. Will definitely recommend and be back again. Thanks!!!
