This hotel has an incredible staff! Friendly and helpful, we felt so welcomed!
The rooms are great and also have new tvs.
Breakfast is included and the location is walking distance to some great restaurants. It's also super close to one of the stops on the Big Red Bus Tour which we used to get around town.
Hands down best service in Scotland!

We enjoyed the kindness and friendly spirit. it is excellently placed for central Glasgow and for Sauchiehall street, for restaurants and shops and to enter Glasgow. All the staff were kind and friendly. The so called continental breakfast was more than ample for us and in the all in inclusive price. We wholehearted recommend. There are three flights of stairs to room 8 so this would not suit everyone. Suggest book direct.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 8 which is at the back and was quiet.

Location is ideal, neighbouring a great range of restaurants and a short walk from the best of central Glasgow. Warm welcome and a great room. We had the family room, which had two single beds and a double bed and still plenty of room. It was clean, well presented and a great change from the more more bland hotel chains (while being competitively priced). At weekends, only a continental breakfast is available, but it was plenty (especially having visited a local restaurant the night before). Will definitely be back, and would certainly recommend it.

We read about Adelaide's in the Rick Steves Scotland guide, checked reviews on TripAdvisor, and booked our room. Adelaide's was all we expected and more. The location itself is fantastic--a short walk from the #500 airport shuttle, so quick access to and from the airport, for starters. We were one block from Sauchiehall St. with its restaurants and shops and just a few blocks from the fabulous Glasgow School of Art. The Kelvingrove Museum is another short bus trip away. Adelaide's offers a great location at a very affordable price.

The guesthouse is part of a grand old Baptist church (the Sanctuary is just off the foyer) which also hosts concerts and rehearsals. A nursery is also part of the building. This makes it unlike any commercial hotel or B&B I've stayed in. The rooms (up some stairs, but the staff grabbed my suitcase before I could protest...not that I protested much) are homey and comfortable.

What we loved most about Adelaide's, though, was the amazing staff--friendly, charming, full of knowledge about everything and anything (American football, local restaurants, world politics, Roy Rogers and Dale Evans!) Everyone took time for a friendly greeting. Ted leads this marvelous crew and they make Adelaide's a special place. We can't wait to return.

Room Tip: The WiFi was strong in Room 6 but harder to access in Room 8.

Adelaide's has it all, helpful staff, great location for the tourist, substantial breakfast. Ted and staff were friendly and helpful. Location great for the Glasgow School of Art, Sauchiehill Street, bus and restaurants . Jerry and Jean both prepared a great breakfast, substantial way to start the day. Wifi was a little tricky, but the staff did their best to help with the situation. I personally loved the idea of a repurposed church meeting different needs in the community. If you want a personable experience of Glasgow, this may be the place for you.

Room Tip: The room we shared was large and spotless. There are stairs to climb, for us a minor detail. Music...

Adelaide's is not your usual Guest House. Glance down to the right as you approach the door and you see a playground for Nursery children: enter the building and to your right is an entrance to the church and community space and to your left is the reception area staffed on alternate days by cheerful Ted and ever-helpful Lisa. My companion and I spent 8 nights here: she was in room 6 and I opted for room 1 (fewer steps). Adelaide's is on Bath Street ; a street that runs parallel with Sauchiehall Street It is a great location for walking to sites of interest or catching buses.I was the only occupant of a warm, comfortable and clean (thanks Jennifer) twin-bedded room with generous en suite- facilities. My room was a semi-basement at the front of the building so some street noise, but I found it excellent value. Lisa and Ted could not have been more welcoming or helpful. We will return to Adelaide's in June 2015. Thanks Adelaide's!

Room Tip: I chose room 1 to avoid stairs. Less natural light but good artificial light for reading. Street noi...

This is a great off-beat B&B tucked away in the middle of bustling Glasgow. The room was comfortable and sure clean. I did not stay for breakfast though, although I wish I had. The staff was helpful and nice.

The downside was that there was a lot of noise in the alley in the night (something crashed and even woke me up) but that's not the B&B's fault.
