Kebabish sound like a late night haunt for donner kebab loyalists, however this is not the case. The name Indian grill would suit better. Food wad great, grilled fish starter with the cheesy sausage kebabs was great and nothing like I have had before. Chili chicken main wad also excellent, service fantastic and no beer required. Great value

“Good Authentic Desi food ”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 March 2014 via mobile

Visited Kebabish with group of family members. As always Kebabish hits the spot. Good authentic Pakistani cooking, testament by how many Asian families frequent the place. Favourites are pakora and fish for starters. Hubby always likes the mixed grill. Mains we had chicken sheek kebab roll, lamb and chicken curry and garlic naans. As a family always enjoy the food here, never had a bad experience. Organised my hubby's b'day dinner back here in Dec in private area at back and staff could not have done more to help. If you want to have good authentic home cooking, this is the place to come. Oh and a must try is the freshly squeezed orange juice because it is just that!

“not what we expected”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 March 2014

o nThursday afternoon 27 of march 2014 i took my partner for lunch at Kababish Victoria RD. I expected a very good plate of real Desi food. What a disapointment when it turned out to be one of the worst meals I have ever been served. I had the lamb shank on the bone and the lady had the the chicken Karahi. My lamb was a lamb shank bone with half the meat you would expect on this particular joint and although very tender was bland and the sauce was almost just like gravy with no spice added. The chicken though ok was not to the standard expected after the reports we had had in the past, We took the chicken home and the dog enjoyed it especially the bones of which therewere plenty! Maybe thechefswere having a bad day?? Steve.

“Best Indian in the Southside”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 March 2014 via mobile

This was my second visit to this restaurant when I went there last week for lunch. It is noticeable the amount of Asian people that were dining, which is always a good sign. There is a lot to choose from, the portion sizes were huge, so much so that I asked for a doggy bag the contents of which I had the following evening. The staff were friendly and attentive although it would be interesting to see how they cope when it is full as it is a big restaurant. Well worth a visit, the food was delicious and I'll be back.

“Best Indian in Glasgow”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 March 2014

I think I must've visited about every single Indian restaurant in Glasgow by now - and yes Mother India's cafe in the West End is a close second - but Kebabish on Vikky Road, is by far the best Indian experience in Glasgow - Go NOW! Definitely try their chilli chicken masala, their seekh kebabs - in fact everything that comes off their grill is worth eating!
