We chose this hotel as it was well located and a reasonable price for a city centre hotel.
Our check in was faultless. A very nice girl checked us in and showed us to our room, pointing out the breakfast room on the way.
Our room was nicely decorated and a good size. As we were below street level our windows both gave a nice view of a wall. The bathroom was nice and bright and had a shower and a bath.
The bed was very comfy but unfortunately we did not sleep well. As our room was at the front of the hotel and below street level we could hear every car and person as they went down the street. As the building is older it does not have double glazing so the soundproofing is non-existent. I was woken up several times during the night by people shouting and singing on their way down the street and also seagulls squawking constantly.
There was a good choice for breakfast - cereals, croissants, fruit, yogurts, rolls, toast, sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs etc and even tattie scones!
We used the free wifi with no problems at all.
Car parking is available in the Charing Cross car park which is just around the corner from the hotel. Reception can stamp your ticket for you before you leave which will give you a discount on your parking.
All in all it was a nice hotel and I would go back but would request a room at the back.
