I had a great stay here, mainly because of the friendly staff. It makes all the difference in your impressions of a hotel if the staff seem genuinely interested in talking to you (even if they are not!). The room, 220, was a single, but was spacious with a nice bathroom. It was the depths of winter so I didn't even bother looking out of the window as there wasn't any daylight whilst I was there! It was quiet - slept like a log. They had no problems with my girlfriend popping up to see me, which I was a bit worried about as it was just a single room.
The staff will book you a taxi, which costs the same as hailing one - mine arrived within 5 minutes of the staff calling it.
Breakfast was good.
I got an excellent deal through a separate hotel booking website - £39.More
