Stayed for three nights. Very lovely spacious room with king sized bed. Great walk in shower and bath. Everything was kept clean.
All the staff were very attentive and helpful.
Arrived late. No hotel parking so had to use multi storey around the block. It cost around £30 for three days using a discount provided by the hotel. Decided to have room service which was expensive but a tasty meal. I had a burger and chips whilst my wife had a fish dish. There are a number of good restaurants in the area so we tended to dine out. The breakfasts were good but the service was a bit slow.
My wife had several spa treatments which she thoroughly enjoyed. I used the pool once. The water jets were powerful which I enjoy - great for a stiff neck.
The only blip was the two fire alarms, one at 7.00 in the morning. It's difficult to know if you have to get up when it stops ringing after a couple of minutes.
Very well located for walking into the shopping centre (about 5 minutes to the main pedestrianized street).
Got a good deal on line by paying upfront.

From the minute i emailed concierge regarding some baloons for my daughters room, i cannot recommend this hotel high enough, i had stayed once before and had the same excellent customer service. The service from the whole hotel staff were extremely attentative despite 24 of us arriving at once - reception had us booked in within minutes, they did there best to get us all as closes as possible. any needs we had were catered for and the bar area was sectioned off for us to have a pre dinner celebration, i cannot thank them enough. Next day we had breakfast and a spa and it was amazing. thansk so much.

Went to Blythswood for my birthday with friends. We had booked a spa package which included overnight stay, a treatment and breakfast. We had afternoon tea when we arrived-food very good, service excellent. We went to the spa for our treatments-there was a palaver trying to get a locker-staff uninterested and unhelpful. Spa very busy, but it was a Sunday. We were shown to a room before our treatments-very basic, and a little shabby. Treatment rooms were nice, but lots of outside noise and creaking of all of the cupboards which was really irritating throughout the hour. We were then taken to a relaxation room-not enough blankets for all of us-when asked for another two we were told there were none.

Dinner and breakfast fantastic.

Rooms were very nice, comfortable, but something missing... Struggling to see the 5 star rating.

A modern luxury hotel recently built within the historic shell of the old RAC club . Excellent hotel on all levels , only minor drawbacks , parking and the main lift ( incredibly slow) . Not really that suitable for children or young families .

I travelled up to Glasgow on the sleeper and arranged to meet someone for breakfast at Blythswood Square. The hotel were happy for me to use the showers in the Spa to freshen up and the breakfast (especially the smoked salmon which was as good as I have tasted) was excellent.

However, what marked the hotel out was the quality of service. The staff were professional and friendly. The mark of 5 star service is that you feel like you are a guest not just a customer and every member of staff were equally good.

A flying visit but a hotel I will definitely use again.

Stayed for two nights to celebrate our anniversary check in was fast and was soon in our room which was lovely had a nice touch with a tray of sweets and a card wishing us a happy anniversary and enjoy our stay which was a lovely touch. Spa was amazing but was disappointed you could only use it without charge at specific times. Breakfast was lovely loads of selection and service was excellent. Went to the Salon for cocktails which were lovely. So all in we had an amazing weekend and recommend this for a special occasion .

Spent four nights in this five star hotel. A bit pricey, but worth it. Impressive on the outside and on the inside. Our room on the second floor was well fitted out and the bathroom could have doubled for Tutankamun's tomb! With its black marble surround, enormous bath and power shower, even had under floor heating. Only niggle about the room was that although there were six light shades in the room, hardly any light came out of them and it was impossible to read in bed.
Breakfasts were excellent, with a huge buffet selection, plus extras on the printed menu. Again, one niggle- they ran out of kippers two mornings running, but when they did come on days three and four, they were excellent.
The staff were obviously highly trained and could not do enough for us.
Car parking is expensive in Glasgow and here was no exception. £27 a day, although that included one of the staff taking our car to wherever the car park was. (We never did find out and they didn't seem to want to tell us) and returning it on demand. Usually took less than fifteen minutes.
Altogether a very impressive hotel and we would certainly go there again. Apart from breakfast, we had our meals outside. The menu looked impressive and was no double excellent, but it just didn't fit in with our budget. We didn't sample the spa but from reports, it was of a high standard.
Pretty central, only minutes from Sauchiehall Street and some excellent. Museums.
Highly recommended.

Room Tip: All rooms seemed quiet. Very little traffic noise.
