“Love this place! Contemporary, luxurious and amazing spa!”
Reviewed 24 June 2013

My husband and I stayed using the square deal, which included an overnight stay, breakfast, dinner and use of the thermal experience.

My husband worked on the renovation of the hotel so was keen to take me to see the finished article! The hotel is beautiful, modern and feels very luxurious!

Our room was very cosy with lovely furnishings and an amazing marble bathroom, loved that the bathroom could open up into the bedroom using the doors at the bath!

Dinner and breakfast was delicious, had the best cote du boeuf we hae ever tried!

Now the spa... I have since visited several times for spa days and afternoon tea! The spa is the best I've ever been to! Feels like you are in a different world and a great range of treatments on offer! I would highly recommend one of the wrap treatments! The thermal experience is also lovely and relaxing and really does feel like your a million miles away!

Overall we love this hotel, I've stayed in many luxury hotels including the likes of Cameron house ect and Blythswood really has topped them all!

Will be returning in the near future!!

Superb Hotel converted from the historic Royal Automobile Club. The building, the rooms, the food and most of all the service are all excellent. I have stayed in many very good hotels in Glasgow over the years but this one is the best. I couldn't fault it at all. I'm struggling to say what it's best feature is because the building, the décor and the rooms are all of the highest standard but in every department we encountered staff who were friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and efficient. The staff and who ever is responsible for developing and training them win it!

Room Tip: Have a chat with the excellent reception staff

Beautiful hotel, rooms were gorgeous, food was really great. We spent a wonderful evening relaxing in the cocktail bar which was our favourite area of this lovely hotel. Whole experience was just fabulous, made so by the professional, helpful and friendly staff of this special hotel. Can't wait to come back.

I stayed one night at Blythswood Square Hotel for business as it was just a shame I didn't get there earlier to enjoy the spa which was closed by the time I arrived (at 10pm). I had a lovely room with big comfy bed, clean and spacious bathroom with huge bath that I took advantage of and shower with it's own lights. The view over the square was lovely. The staff were helpful and polite, the only slight disappointment was at breakfast I had to ask for my tea a couple of times but that was a very minor thing. The fire alarm malfunction in the morning was also slightly annoying but at least I was already up. The bar looked nice it's just a shame I didn't have someone to enjoy a drink with.

Room Tip: Rooms higher up probably have a bit less noise

We stayed here for 2 nights in May 2013. The staff could not have been more friendly and amenable. The room was well equipped and suited us to a tee. The breakfast is sumptuous. I am definitely planning a return trip. Slightly expensive but well worth it.

My daughter and I stayed here for one night when looking at the university.
Incredible is one word on describing not only the staff but the rooms and the service, stay here and be pampered and enjoy your stay in Glasgow. Breakfast is excellent, as was dinner, with superb wine. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, the rooms are immaculate as is the hotel.

Room Tip: penthouse is fantastic

This hotel is definitely one of Glasgow's best. It really deserved its 5 stars.
The rooms are absolutely great, the restaurant is top notch as is the spa.
It is on the pricey range for Glasgow but it is definitely worth it as a treat.
