Reviewed 30 May 2014

The Blytheswood offers top notch comfort, the bed was just wonderful, so comfy, had a fabulous nights sleep. Staff loped happy in their jobs, and were very attentive, nothing was too much trouble. A clean and well appointed hotel. This is just what a five star hotel should be, and we've been to some places that just aren't - we highly recommend if you're staying in Glasgow!!!

Room Tip: We were in a room on the first floor - lovely and what a delightful bathroom.

We booked a midweek papmer spa break on a monday over to tuesday. Arrived on monday morning about 11:30 everyone from doorman to receptionist were so professional and helpful, they kept our bags as we were going down to use the thermal experience and get a massage before check in at 3pm. Spa reception again very professional and helpful. the thermal experience is out of this world, we went on a quiet day which was a bonus also. The massage was second to none, both myself any my wife had a fantastic massage. we visited as part of the "midweek papmer spa break" fantastic value and worth every penny. After the massage checked in to our classic room which was brilliant, room and bathroom to die for, i can only imagine what the penthouse must be like!!! the whole hotel is so clean and free of maintenance, the staff are brilliant, we had a lovely cocktail in the bar before dinner then the next morning breakfast was fantastic. Cant wait to return which we will do. well done Blythswood! only negative is £27 for valet parking a bit steep but didnt spoil our stay

We stayed here last week for an overnight. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated with a really big bathroom with separate walk in shower and high quality toiletries. The staff were very friendly and attentive to all our needs. The spa is amazing and well worth a visit ! We had agreat time and look forward to going back.

Room Tip: Our room faced a small courtyard but you couldn't hear a pin drop for such a big hotel.

Had a wonderful stay here with my mother. The hotel is gorgeous but what really made it special was the wonderful and friendly service. In particular I'd like to mention the bar tenders Corey and Meg,you guys are awesome.

I have stayed at The Blythswood Square Hotel a few times, but never had the time to visit the Spa. My Mum and I stayed there in May and the service was impeccable. From the second we arrived the Concierge could not have helped us more. The hotel was beautiful and completely spotless. The furnishings throughout were stunning. The best bit came when my Mum and I arrived at the Spa which was conveniently situated a very short lift ride away from our room. It was total bliss. We felt like we were the only two people there. I have been to spas that were over crowded; the total opposite of relaxing. Blythswood Spa was so peaceful and we stayed there all day. We did drag ourselves away from the thermal pool to have our treatments which were amazing and to enjoy afternoon tea. I can't wait to go back, I loved every second of my stay. A really well managed hotel that knows exactly how to treat a customer. Even the tiny little details make a huge different.

This stylish hotel is in a very good location. Close to the shops and there are some good restaurants nearby, namely Gamba which is worth a visit. The rooms were spacious and the bathroom(s) provided many types of bathing options. Beds were very comfortable. Staff were efficient and helpful. Breakfast was ok - not memorable but the service was a little slow, perhaps because they were so busy. Overall a great place to stay.

I use this Hotel for mainly business meetings and overnight stays for my business partners and myself. The excellent friendly service sumptuous accommodation of various sizes of room and the tranquil and spacious presidential suite on the top floor with its secure elevator access and private terrace, and super en suite spa bathroom and vast comfortable bed all make this the perfect venue for us and especially so for whoever is able to stay in that room.

We even can get dinner and snacks and meals served in the suite dining room where we hold our meetings and all the service services and equipment we need is readily to hand. The main restaurants and the Hotel spa and leisure centre are all you would expect as is the food and service in the dining room afternoon tea and evening bar areas and large lobby with its private nooks and crannies. Add to all that the direct helpful Glasgow hospitality and you have a great home from home in that great City.

Room Tip: As in any City centre although this is a quiet location traffic and street noise from revellers espe...
