We book with upstreet, we recieved a phone call the morning before we left, to let us know their north star hotel had had a gas leak but that we had be booked in to their Cranston street flat. 30 mins before arriving we phoned to arrange to be greeted, when we arrived there was no one there. We phoned again to be told they were on their way and would be with us in five mins, we waited 15 befored a gent wandered out the front and what appeared to be only access to the building??
The hall way was dirty as was the lift, on arriving at our floor the Walls has large holes in the plaster. It only got worse when we went in the flat, it was filthy, there was cm thick dust on all the skirting. Huge stains on all the upholstery and cushions, the beds were not made. The kitchen was dirty and the fridge stunk. There was used baking trays in the oven. The bathroom was filthy, there was toothpaste round the sink and urine on the toilet seats. There wad waste in the bins. The ensuite bathroom smelt luke a urinal and the shower was blocked and smelt when it was turned on and again the toilet had urine stains. Finally upon sorting different acco I realised I had left something in the car, when u went down to collect it i found we hadn't been given a key to the outside door just two for the apartment. I then felt extremely unsafe and arranged alternative accomodation, A travel inn which was lovely, with the friendliest staff. We
