Good things:
Funky decor
Great in-room facilities
Helpful staff
Good availability of food and drink. Tasty food.
Big comfy bed.

Not so good things:
No parking, and not even a drop off area (!).
Screen-based check-in, which I found a bit cold.
TINY rooms. Only check into this hotel with someone you are very intimate with.
Bed only accessible from one side.
Breakfast served canteen style and only high stools available for seating.
Plastic cutlery (?)

Not sure if I'd return. :/

Excellent location, in the central glasgow area and close to Buchanan Street station making it very easy to transfer to and from Glasgow Airport.

Self check is is simple and Ambassadors are always available to help if you need it. The room itself is small but very well thought out. As you enter the room there is a small amount of storage for your clothes and a sink. Behind a glass partitian is the shower and toilet. and straight ahead is the HUGE bed. It's funky and fabulous. The bed is the best bit, very comfortable and enough to sleep 4 people, not that the hotel will allow this many to share a room! There's a flat screen tv you can watch whilst in bed with a very good range of films, a small desk to work from and a brilliant remote control that allows you to operate everything from the tv and radio to the window blinds and colour theme in the shower.

If you're in Glasgow for business or pleasure and need somewhere to sleep for a couple of nights, I would highly recommend Citizen M. If you're there for a bit longer, you might stuggle to find enough space to store your possessions.

My only gripe was the lack of kettle in the room. I know you can go to the restaurant and get a hot or cold drink at any time, but some people like to wake up and have a hot drink before we face the day.

I didn't eat at the hotel restaurant, but I found an excellent "greasy spoon" just across the road which served a brilliant cooked breakfast for £1.99!

Room Tip: If you don't mind a little traffic noise, take a street facing room. It's fun to watch the...

Clean, stylish and the perfect amount of service. Certainly a no frills style of hotel but this doesn't mean they skimp on style and gadgets. The rooms are very small and basic (in terms of storage bathroom etc) but deliver exactly what you need. Not sure about food/breakfasts etc as we didn't partake as being right in the centre of Glasgow there's no need to rely on the hotel. Lots of space to relax privately in the public areas. Good wi fi access. Room remote could be a little challenging for some guests.

A real find. We loved the wall to wall bed. Friendly and helpful staff. We loved the lounge areas and the bar and food area. Very modern. The location was ideal.

The rooms are very small but they are clean and comfortable. We were carrying a lot of luggage and there wasn't a lot of room for luggage but it was fine. After a long haul from Australia, we couldn't have asked for a better bed to sleep off the jet lag. Excellent show, excellent heating and television. The lighting was novel to play with and the wifi worked well.
The bar/cafe was excellent with a good option for healthy snacks/meals. The staff were very friendly.

Room Tip: Request a top level floor so the local city building offices aren't looking straight in to your...

I came to citizenM with my boyfriend for a romantic overnight away. It was everything I had expected from reading reviews and so much more. The room is not as small as I thought it would be. The toilet/shower "pod" is a good size & their was two options of shower heads. The average shower head that can be taken off of its bracket and moved and the "rain shower" feature. The soap and two shampoos/shower gels provided smelled gorgeous and a powerful(!) hairdryer was provided (not common in hotels) The range of films was excellent and we made the most of this although if travelling with children I would recommend placing the parental lock on about half of the films immediately as many are very inappropriate. I have read many people complaining about the fact the sink is not within the toilet "pod" however, i didn't find this to be a problem at all as it is immediately in front of you when you exit the toilet. I found the bed to be extremely spacious and comfortable and had a brilliant sleep. The storage under the bed was excellent, fitted all of our things with much more room available had we needed it, although I did notice that their was very little space for hanging things up, luckily this was no problem for us. The desk was very shallow, we only used it for our laptop which fitted fine but had we had any real business to do, we would have been struggling. An iPod docking station is provided and plays music whilst charging the iPod! I found this to be an excellent feature and used it quite a lot. Check in and checkout were quick and simple and choosing where in the hotel you would like your room was definitely a major plus. "canteenM" was excellent, open very late into the early hours of the morning selling ice cream, fruit, snacks and drinks. Some things, however, were very expensive so you may wish to stock up on snacks and drinks before you go. We found some hairs on the quilt when we opened it up but as you can see I still rated it 5 stars so it didn't affect my stay at all.
Overall, for a short stay the hotel is absolutely perfect, i thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would return in a heartbeat.

Room Tip: We chose cityview on the third floor, we experienced no outside noise however, we would have been ha...

We stayed here in September and were highly impressed. A cleverly designed room, comfortable and with modern slick features. Quiet, clean, great location and at a competitive price. You can't lose.
