this is perhaps one of the best places i have even stayed in. it really is comfortable (a super sized king size bed) and cosy (luxury duvet and pillows), funky (well designed, attention to detail, nicely decorated), very clean (immaculate rooms), high technology (free wi-fi throughout, free on demand television), all gizmos for technology dependant person, very pleasant shower, enough space for clothes (remember, this is only a short-stay place), functional areas on each room for ironing clothes.

the bar/restaurant is superb, with a lot of choice of healthy and not so healthy food, fresh coffee, freshly made juices, freshly baked patisserie, and in general plenty of space to either work or socialise.

most of it is self-service, which may not work with those who want to be pampered, but having said that, the staff are as accommodating as one could possibly imagine.

We stayed here in december and were delighted. The hotel was very querky and modern with very friendly staff. The room was a reasonable size with an enormous comfy bed and tv mounted on the wall, with a remote control which powered almost everything in the room - lights, blinds, you name it. Unfortunately we only stayed for one night but hope to return soon. Definitely one of the nicest - if not the nicest - hotels I've stayed in, 5 star all round!

My Boyfriend and I stayed here on a Saturday night after a day in Glasgow. The location of the Hotel was brilliant, almost directly opposite the cinema and just around the corner from a large range of restaurants. When we checked in we were greeted by a lovely female member of staff who was very helpful in showing us how to work the check in system. (can't remember her name but she had brown hair, was foreign and was working at 4 on Saturday 11th Jan!) We were so impressed with the room, it was good sized and had the added extras of an ipod dock, big television and a rain shower. The shower was something else, it had multi coloured mood lighting that was controlled by a pad and created an amazing atmosphere throughout the whole room. The bed is the biggest and comfiest I have ever slept in and it was right infront of the huge window which was cool as you could control the blinds with the remote too. The room itself was very clean; no traces of dust at all. You should be proud of the maids! The only thing I would point out is that there was a stain on the seat in our room (301) but it was not a problem as you could see it had been cleaned and the stain left behind was probably detergent. The bar was open till 2am and served a wide range of food and drink however the staff need to work on their long vodkas as it was not the nicest one I had ever had. Overall it was a lovely, modern hotel and we had a brilliant time. Will definetly be returning!!!

What an amazing find!! Just an awesome place from start to finish. From the art work and style in the reception, bar and seating area downstairs to the well designed rooms.

The rooms are small; but who really needs that much space when you are dropping your bags then heading into the city. What the rooms do have: a shower light that changes color (sweet!), the biggest best ever, free movies, good wifi, a tablet that controls the entire room (its even cooler than you are currently thinking) and the shower itself was very roomy and powerful (great for the slight hangover in the morning).

Finally, the price was good value for any similar rated hotel in the city. Plus the CitizenM location alone makes it better value.

Room Tip: Ask for a room that has a tablet to control the room (not all do)!!

My husband and I heard about this hotel through friends and we decided to see if it was 'all that' which it was and more. It feels like you are staying in an Ikea showroom with the layout of the rooms and the mod cons such as the fancy mood lighting and the rain shower. I loved that the movies were free too. The only thing missing was tea/coffee making facilities but we'll take the travel kettle next time now that we know.

Thoroughly recommend.

Great hotel in a great location if you are spending time in Glasgow centre.

Staff are really friendly and the decor is ultra modern with a Japanese angle.

Rooms are small but have everything you need. The mood lighting you can change is great fun.

I probably wouldn't go for a week but for a couple of nights it's great.

Excellent hotel. Rooms are small but very modern and clean. Remote control for blinds on window. Remote also changes the colour of the lights in the room. Cannot fault this hotel. Great value for money.
