Someday all hotels will be as iPad-centric as the ultra cool Citizen M. Rick Steves did not have this four-year old hotel in his Scotland Snapshot book. It was just a few blocks from the Glasgow School of Arts, our main destination for a one-day stop in Glasgow. Rooms are narrow with a square and very comfortable bed at the window-end of the room. Everything from alarm, TV, curtains, blinds and mood lighting is controlled by an iPad on the bedside table. The alarm was remarkable. I chose the quiet setting. In the morning the TV sound came on with a good morning and then a soothing voice counted down from 100. The bathroom is a circular and roomy glass stall in the room. Teens will think you are a very hip parent/grandparent if you book this place. There is a car park two blocks away. Unloading your vehicle is a bit of a problem as I had to block a lane of traffic to get our bags inside. One of the staff helped me unload and store our bags until check in. BTW, I had trouble with the iPad and a staff member came to the room to put it right. We loved this place!More
