“Fantastic and 100% authentic”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 July 2012

Inviting, relaxed, friendly staff are a classic compliment to the food - beautifully prepared and authentic Italian taste. Wide ranging menu - also have Pre-Theatre and Sunday Lunch menu.
Mum literally stumbled upon this little Glasgow gem a few weeks ago - so it was the logical choice for her birthday lunch!
Very reasonably priced - 2 courses on a Sunday Lunch menu -£9.95! Doesn't reflect the quality of the food- each course is just lovely, well balanced- flavour and amount and there's a great choice. I can genuinely say the food here is not 'conveyor belt' prepared, like some other restaurants I could name and shame!
Homemade desserts - the strawberry pavlova was the best mum's ever had apparently - served too with extra strawbs and a huge dollop of Italian ice cream.... YUM!
They have a deli, complete with take-away menu - again all lovely and well priced. Brought home some treats from there...
They truly deserve their recent win of Independent Cafe of the year 2012.

“Superb little local cafe/restaurant!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 July 2012

I have been to this place on several occasions and I am usually 9/10 very happy with my food! I have been for meals, lunch, tapas night, take away and it is delicious! For all the times and its 90% is still very impressive in my eyes! It is very tempting with all the meat behind the counter to spend an absolute fortune in the place! The ice cream, especially strawberry, is absolutely amazing! hard to know what I would prefer to spend my calorie intake on, the meal or the ice cream!

“DELICIOUS FOOD”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 July 2012

I have been to Celino's for a coffee and snack before and its always been to my liking. My friend and I decided to go there on Sunday, we had the set 2 Course menu, we were very pleased with the efficient service of the waiters and the delicious food which is very reasonably priced. My friend had never been before and was delighted with the food and drink, We will be back.

“Great find”

I have eaten here many times and the food and serviceis always flawless. It's a little cramped with the tables close together. The staff are friendly and informative. Worth a visit

“It doesn`t get any better than this”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 July 2012

Service, drinks, food and ambience everything in this place is fantastic. Don`t expect this place to be like a fancy upmarket city centre restaurant, it`s not. What it is, a great family run Italian bistro which is very reasonably priced. The staff are brilliant and always make you feel at home were nothing is too much trouble. The food, Oh the food!!! heaven on a plate. Try the chicken in peppercorn sauce with herb infused rice wow! & the Tiramisu double wow! I can`t wait to go back again writing about this now! Oh and they also do a tapas night which lets you taste different small plates that they do.
