This was an beautiful and wonderfully restored old historic hotel. With the helpful tip of previous trip advisor reviewers, we asked for a quiet room!
Excellent for train access as it is in the central station, and right in the centre of the shopping district.
The rooms were tasteful, and 'richly' decorated with lovely high ceilings. They were comfortable and warm. The corridors were wide so it did not feel 'close'.

Amazing hotel with an amazing location. The rooms are spotless with comfy beds. The bathroom is massive. Special mention to the mirrors whom don't get any steam!

This hotel is a great place for all your travels around Scotland. The train station is adjacent to the hotel, making it easy to catch a rude anywhere you want to visit. You can even shop and have a meal in the depot! The hotel us bug, clean and HAUNTED! Just ask about going up the stairs to the top floor.....

Have stayed here numbers of times. It is also a good haunt for meetings and a glass of wine in the Champagne Bar whilst awaiting a train, quick service too.
The hotel reception is efficient and the rooms fine are good with good showers (4/5), even if the corridors are very long aka "The Shining".
It does seem a bit parsimonious on the Wifi front with only 30 minutes free. Not so bad if having a drink as above but a bit of bugger when the TV is limited to few channels so Iplayer is out without an additional bill.

Having said that in terms of location and the friendly staff a good spot. The restaurant is not bad either.

We have just returned today after 3 nights in this hotel, we had a lovely time, it's a beautiful hotel the staff are very friendly and helpful, our room was spotless with lovely comfy beds, we had room 257 which overlooked the street. The breakfast was fantastic, as much or as little as you want with lots of choice. It's right in the centre of Glasgow, which is brilliant, we loved it, with more shopping centres than you can dream of. We would definitely stay here again.

I stayed in this hotel as ut was close to work and tge ststion. Its quite a nice lookibg clean hotel and the staff are friendly. The rooms are nice abd bug. My only real complaint was the quality if the food. I also ibjectvto oayibg a fuve pound tray charge to eat bland food in my room.
