“Excellent hidden gem”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 February 2012

This was great and right up there with the best that London can offer. The High Street study was interesting as was the scary walk up to the observation deck! Nice shop with interesting hand made cards. Definately see this place.

“Several exhibitions to see”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 January 2012

The High Street exhibition was well thought through and the Mackintosh one was excellent and thought-provoking. Only issue was one of the floors not in service on our visit

“Spend the Time”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 January 2012

The entire experience is to take in the various shifting exhibitions. Each city should have one of these. From the studios to the little cafe and the gift shop with totally unique gifts on the main level. Apportion the time to enjoy.

“Great views, interesting exhibits, v good small cafe”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 October 2011

We enjoyed our visit here, and popped back the following day to see a few more things. Apart from one exhibition, which has some pretty interesting video displays, the rest is free. It is worth climbing up to the viewing tower - which give panaramic views of the city, and there are various other displays - and quite a bit about Rennie Macintosh, other modern architecture displays and a fancy design shop on the ground floor. There is a charming, low key cafe, with great soup and sandwich or coffee and scone offers. This place may not be an obviously "touristy" place, but if you like architecture themed exhibitions then this should be on your to-see list.
