What a lovely place. Staff amazing, rooms and deco excellent. Food nowt special, better finding a restaurant in town. Would stay again and again.
My 10yr old daughter and I stayed while going to see Dirty Dancing at the king`s. Not really a family place to stay but she enjoyed it as much as me.
Don`t stay anywhere else........

Decor and furnishing compliment the fabulous spacious rooms. The staircases and stained glass windows are really special. The bar and bistro are of a really high standard without being intimidating or too stuffy. Our second visit and already planning to return......

Stayed once again at the hotel last week. Amazing room for a very small cost of £30 for an upgrade. This hotel is truly one of the best in the world and i have travelled extensively. I will continue to sing the praises of the staff the food and the service let alone those amazing amazing rooms! Treat yourself one day you really will not be disappointed.

Room Tip: If the upgrades are available reasonably then do it. Not that you need to but just indulge a little...

We stayed B&B at this hotel on a Thursday night as part of our Christmas Shopping trip to Glasgow. The room was lovely, very comfortable Super-King bed and the bathroom was luxurious. On booking in we were offered a complimentary glass of whisky. Anything you asked for was done without a problem. The breakfast was plentiful and excellent quality. We had a few drinks in the hotel bar in the evening, not cheap at £8.50 a cocktail but they were fantastic cocktails! The only criticism was that there was no complimentary water in the bedroom, there were plenty of options at a price from the minibar, there was however free coffee. We would stay again and would recommend it to others. We got a good deal and it was booked directly with the hotel. Free parking too.

Room Tip: I doubt there is a bad room.

My boyfriend and I booked in to One Devonshire as a special treat last weekend and we had an absolutely wonderful time that we will never forget.

Having living in Glasgow most of our lives we had never been to the hotel, not even for a meal! What a mistake! We have been missing out on this fantastic place for so long!!

Being a special treat I had called in advance to discuss the room we wanted and to have special additions put in our room at specific times, the staff on the phone were more than accomodating and everything was done to perfection.

The room we had was just what we wanted a huge very comfy bed and all the extra bits that you would need. The bathroom had doors that opened up into the room next to the double ended bath, very romantic. A huge monsoon shower and fantastic plus size arran aromatics that I'm still using now!!

We ate in the restaurant on the saturday evening and I could easily say it's one of the best meals I have eaten accompanied by one our favourite wines from our holidays in Sardinia. The atmosphere was just right and our waitress was very knowledgable and friendly.

Staying in the hotel was a very special treat and probably a one off as we live in the city but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend staying there to anyone. We will definitely be going back to eat and would recommend the restaurant as a must for anyone visiting or even living in Glasgow looking for a great meal with perfect attention to detail.

Room Tip: Worth calling up and discussing your room choice with the reception staff, they are very helpful.
