Beautiful surroundings, greenery and beautiful place to go with plenty of walking paths.
Skatepark is also brilliant and fairly new! Great choice of ramps, boxes, verts and rails.
Great place to take the kids or simply walk through the park on a nice day.

I love city parks - they are always such relaxing places while the world spins on by - Kelvingrove Park is no exception and has the added bonus of offering great views of Glasgow and the riverside path which links to the Botanical Gardens.

Given the hilly terrain, you are constantly treated to new and pleasant vistas as you navigate a curve or descend or ascent a mound. Trees are most mature creating an umbrella effect so all remembrances of being in a busy city fade.

What more could you ask for on a glorious sunny day than going for a stroll in the park? With a dog or not, make the effort and enjoy your surroundings

An urban haven near the university of Glasgow on the Kelvin river. Established in the mid 1800s, the park has beautiful mature trees, woodland areas and many monuments and statues. A refreshing oasis of tranquility in a bustling city.
