“Very Tragic news”
Reviewed 3 June 2014

Fire has heavily impacted on this iconic building and no access at present. Check on the Web site for any access updates.

This is dreadful news for visitors to Glasgow but do remember there are many more arractionx around the city with the Commonwealth Games in July/August. Glasgow is the smiling city.

“Architectural Walking Tour - Outstanding!”
Reviewed 2 June 2014

We had 2 excellent tour guides who met us promptly. Raheela was our lead guide and she was very knowledgeable. We covered a large territory and we were given very good architectural details and history for a wide range of buildings and architects. The pace of the tour was good, including a convenience stop for all of us.
This was a very good way to get an understanding of the great building boom of Glasgow that made it a truly wonderful city. The history of Rennie MacIntosh was well detailed.

“OMG!”
Reviewed 1 June 2014

The wonderful iconic mac has gone up in flames and you wont be able to see inside anytime soon. How incredibly sad,the building and the student degree work has been ruined. =(
I am sure it will be repaired and restored but it will never be quite the same- decades of blood sweat and tears ,of student and academics footfalls, of manky hand prints in paint caked sinks -none of it can be replicated. Pristine will still be great so dont miss it this time round!

“A Treasure”
Reviewed 29 May 2014

I just love this building. A true Glasgow treasure. Tragic to see the blaze on Friday but the building will be restored and it's spirit will never falter.
