“Lovely to visit”
Reviewed 23 November 2013

A nice 20-30 min walk from Central Glasgow brings you to this lovely museum. Large enough to have something for everyone and yet still small enough to see most in half a day. The mixture of modern art 'installations' transposed alongside natural history and art exhibits examples the sort of fun museum it is. We were dated to a live organ recital whilst having a cup of tea and then looked at the work of the Glasgow Boys before viewing the Dali Christ on the Cross. All in all well worth the visit, and it's free!

“Great day out”
Reviewed 22 November 2013

Love going here, there is always something different to look at. Usually very peaceful but they have a robot dinosaur that roars every time someone walks past it and you can hear it all over the gallery, which was slightly annoying. Can spend the full day in the place its that big.

“The best museum in the world!”
Reviewed 22 November 2013

In my humble opinion the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum is the best in the world!
I have had many trips to this Glasgow museum over my lifetime and every one of them has been filled with a new treasure or favoutrite discovery. I am still that excited little schoolkid from the Southside of Glasgow going to the museum for the first time.
This place is a must if you live in Glasgow and a must if you don't!

“Must see when in Glasgow”
Reviewed 21 November 2013

I have been here several times and never tire of visiting. Always new exhibits and we came especially to see the Vettriano exhibition and loved it. I am never again likely to see so many of his works. It is on till Feb 2014 so make sure you go before then. The museum as a whole has something for all ages and still cannot believe there is not even a small charge to visit.
