Usually in here at least once a week. The Gallery is stunning. The cafe, less so. It's not bad - and the staff are always friendly and accommodating - but the menu is not particularly exciting, even for those of us who just want a decent sandwich or a hot roll.

Don't let the bland cafe put you off though. It's a spectacular place.

I attended a conference in Glasgow, and we had the conference dinner here - meaning, the museum was all for ourselves! we enjoyed the artwork - very stunning collection indeed..

Perhaps not as large as those in London but still large and interesting enough to occupy a whole day's visit. Definitely worth seeing while in town.

My friends and I only had about a day in a half in Glasgow, and this museum was absolutely worth the time. The architecture of the building (both inside and out!) itself makes it a worthwhile spot, and the collection of artifacts and exhibitions inside just double the experience. We saw this as a stop on the hop on/hop off bus tour and it was pretty far along the bus route. Tip: if you're looking for lunch before/after visiting the museum, Brewdog brewery is right across the street and it has great drinks/food.

Visited with wife and 2 visitors from England and had a great time viewing all the various exhibits but highlight was the organist playing this is between 1 and 1.30 every day. We also used the cafe. Will certainly be back.
