Spent the week here following the death of my father. Excellent service as always from the generally very helpful and attentive staff. Prices higher than on previous visits but then the hotel was almost full. Will definitely stay here the next time I'm looking for a hotel in Glasgow.

Room Tip: Rooms at the front don't overlook the hospital, so are preferable.

A good comfortable hotel which is ideally located for visiting the botanical gardens & museums, the city centre is easilly accessible by bus outside the hotel. This hotel has the added bonus of free parking

Room Tip: Rooms at the back of the hotel can be quite noisy as the hotel is located on the Great Western Road

Staff and quality of staff are fantastic only downside is that baths do not fit the more sturdy gentleman. But otherwise cannot fault the hotel. Room service food was lovely and delivered promptly. Would recommend the pond in future

I would have preferred to give a rating of good, rather than average but this is not an option. The location - back to back with a filling station forecourt and a hospital - may cause some raised eyebrows, but the hotel itself is fine. Clean, well appointed, quiet, comfortable beds, good food, plenty of free parking spaces, all representing value for the price paid. As others have noted it's not central but this was not an issue for the purpose of this visit. Staff were polite, efficient (for the most part) and friendly, including forwarding an electronic copy of my receipt, which I forgot to collect on departure.

Booked on booking.com at a brilliant price of £60 per night for a massive three bed room. This hotel is located just a ten minute drive from the city centre or a £10-£12 taxi fare. The room was gorgeous, very clean, very spacious and had all of the facilities you could want for a short city break. We arrived around 7pm on a Friday and although the reception area was extremely busy, we were greeted with a very friendly welcome. Ordered room service and had a lovely meal in the room watching a massive flat screen TV. We were out all day Saturday until the wee hours and when we got back the room had been serviced and the place looked great. Massive bath with lots of lovely toiletries and warm fluffy towels. If you want the comfort and luxury of a lush city hotel without the noise of the city centre then book a room here. Awesome!!! Will definitely stay again.
