What a lovely medium sized hotel. The Location is good although on a busy road but double glazed to keep noise levels down and most rooms on sides. Several others who where at the same conference and were also in city centre hotels complained of loud music going on till two in the morning and other street noise in the evenings this was not a problem here. The staff are excellent offering help and really seemed pleased to make your stay a good one. You can tell they are proud of their hotel and city. It even has a small car park for circa 30 cars around the back , ask for details on how to get to it as it is a bit hidden away and you cannot park outside the hotel.
The location was Ideal for Strathclyde University and the city centre with George square only a few yards Away. Also some fab restaurants (mostly Italian) with in 10 mins walk. I will try and stay again if in the area.
