A large hotel in the up and coming docks area. Modern 10th floor room. Fresh bathroom with complimentary products.and bathrobe. Great view of the City and water at night. Internet in rooms is very expensive, however it is free in the lobby area. Excellent buffet with plenty of choice.

Room Tip: Higher floors have a great view over the water.

Stayed here on ''It Is On'' deal on several occasions and as before found the staff and attention to service excellent. Check in staff at this hotel always very helpful and nothing to much trouble for them. Afternoon tea great lovely selection, evening meal at hotel was excellent. The chef in the evening spent a lot of time explaining the different dishes and was very friendly even providing something off menu to suit my tastes. Comfortable rooms with excellent views over the River Clyde. Some downsides....... the actual making the reservations for us, staff member Kelly very abrupt and unhelpful despite me making several calls to accommodate us. I was disappointed at breakfast that some guests were not dressed appropriately.....walking about in shorts and bare feet and one guest came down in a bathrobe and socks and rather than getting a glass proceeded to pour milk into a bowl and drink from the bowl......not a child but a mature man........ there was better behaved children in the restaurant. Despite this certainly one of the best hotels in Glasgow for service, quality and attention to detail.

Room Tip: Ask for room looking uptowards the Tall Ship lovely view.

Stayed here on business, during a visit to the nearby Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre. Staff are attentive, room very comfortable and quiet. Relaxing stay, and a great view of the Clyde Arc on the River Clyde.

We were on a two break in Glasgow staying at the Crowne Plaza. Really enjoyed staying there, nice clean room, excellent facilities and attentive staff. We also got a bargain price of £126.00 for two nights including breakfast - which was great - and also parking! Beat that for value! We'll definitely be back!

I've stayed here many times now as its a 5minute drive to the city centre and is located next to the Clyde, so its great to go for a run in the mornings by the river.

The hotel has all the modern facilities, gym, pool sauna, jacuzzi etc. The rooms have great bathrooms with showers, hair dryers for the girlie's, plenty of towels, and the breakfast has a good choice of european foods. Car park at the rear of the hotel so you wont have to fight for a space! The bar in the lobby area is great for a coffee, meetings and catching up with office work on the laptop, you can get a free 30min WIFI voucher from reception.

Service isw faultless.

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking the Clyde for great views, and join priority club for free room upgrades.

We stayed in this hotel for one night whilst visiting for a football game at Parkhead. It's nicely situated on the river giving lovely views, especially at night when the city is lit up. You can walk along the river into the city, which takes approx 10 mins. The room was clean, comfy and had some thoughtful touches- the aromatheraphy sleep spray for the pillows was nice.
We had breakfast at the hotel which included buffet style full breakfast, cereals, fruit and yoghurts.
The gym is small but handy for a short stay and the pool and sauna were a nice way to relax after a long day of walking round the city.
A trip to the science museum over the river is a fun, interactive way to spend some time..
We would return.

stayed here as we were attending a concert in the secc, the hotel was great, we ate in the restaurant, it was a bit pricey but food was good, rooms were a good size and clean, good service and great when you leave the concert you dont have to leave the hotel as the secc is adjoined to the hotel, definately stay here again if wed a concert but probably not if we were just visiting glasgow to shop as it is a bit from the shops :)
