This hotel has all the usual "Hilton" polish, with a large lobby and the expected high quality restaurant & bar. Location wise the hotel stands slightly on its own with only the Marriott close by as the immediate location is a maze of major roads. The gym on site was well equipped and included in the prince of the room.

The hotel is between 5 to 10 minutes walk from the main Glasgow rail station (Central Station) through an area which is "ok" but isn't the most flattering for the city of Glasgow. On the way is a Tesco which is about the only option if you do not fancy the restaurant in the hotel or a walk.

The rooms are very comfortable with fine fixtures and fittings and are large by many standards. I have the usual moan with Hilton hotels in general that the mini bar prices are ridiculous and free wifi is only available in the lobby.

The room I had looked out on to the M8 motorway ... not the most inspiring thing in the city, however, the noise wasn't noticeable and didn't intrude to prevent sleep. The hotel is a certainly a classy venue and the staff were friendly and welcoming.

I have stayed in this Hilton many times - the hotel has been extensively refurbished recently and is looking really great. We stayed there recently to attend a family wedding on a trip back home to Scotland. We had two 'King balcony' suites on the 20th floor, amazing views of Glasgow!

One 'low light' If you are driving be sure to get a space in underground parking early at the weekend - if there are weddings and other functions on they fill up quickly!

Loved my stay here. Everything from the health suite to the breakfasts were top class.. Only downfall was that I'm not a fan of walking especially if iv got the 5 inch heels on so we had to taxi it to most destinations.. We also tried room service which was delicious although expensive. Would definitely stay here again in the future

The team and management here are great at making you feel welcome.
Having visited to perform a show at the hotel, we were looked after very well.
The doormen are the fountain of all local knowledge, and always have a good tale to tell.

Great location for the city centre . Not far to walk to the Mitchel library / kelvingove museum . We stayed 2 nights friday/ saturday . Loved our room nice and quiet. Breakfast not the best. Dislike help your self breakfasts and for a four star hotel think the service poor. We did eat in the bar and the service was very good.

The gym and pool areas are very good, equipment and cleanliness. Had to wait each morning to be seated for breakfast, can't they see me? Very good breakfast. Rooms noisy, woke each time somebody used water, ie shower, toilet etc. as the pipes make a horrendous noise, and I can sleep through everything usually. Not happy to stay there again unless the water noise is sorted out.
