Stayed in Glasgow Marriott for 2 nights during my recent trip to scotland. It is a nice hotel close to the city center. It is also conveniently located near the Anderston station and the M8- so doesnt matter if you are driving or using the trains, this hotel is very well located.
It is about a 10 min walk from the town center, so nicely located if you fancy going out to the town center.
Coming to the hotel itself, this place has the usual Marriott feeling- and thankfully so. A nice pub and an American restaurant, business center. There is also a fitness center if you need to work out.
The prices are a bit on the higher side. The wi-fi is not complementary either. So, overall not a very good value for money proposition.
The rooms are nice, standard and the staff is courteous- typical Marriott.
Overall a decent place on business visits, but a bit expensive.
