Stayed at Glasgow Marriott for 1 night as my granddaughter had been nominated for an award. The rooms were spacious and the bed very comfortable. Sound proofing is excellent as the hotel is situated next to M8 motorway but no traffic sound at all. Bar is a bit pricey but probably on a par with city centre outlets.

Best service I have ever had in a hotel - did not meet a single unhappy, rude or unhelpful staff member.
Although the spa treatment centre is not part of the hotel (which is why I have left the rating as 5 stars) it is worth mentioning that it was poor, over priced treatments and staff that do not help you feel relaxed - the lady i had moaned about how busy she was through out my massage. not good at all. should have spent my money in the bar instead!

Stayed at The Marriot while on a weeks business in Scotland.

The Marrriot Glasgow is a little tired on the outside and could maybe do with some upgrading but that aside it's still an excellent business hotel with everything on offer that you'd need. A nice room with a super-comfy bed and great breakfast as well as good leisure facilities was what was needed and it's what we got.

I stayed here for 2 nights and had dinner their for 1 night. We were given a very spacious room which had 2 double beds in. Bathroom was big with a bath and a shower over the bath. Decor slightly dated but room was soundproof. Breakfast was buffet style with a huge choice of food. Dinner was lovely and the staff are very efficient. It is fairly close to the city centre around a 15 minutes walk and also has a bus stop for the citysightseeing bus tour.

Room Tip: Probably overlooking the back, as the front rooms overlooked the motorway and a flyover.

Chose this hotel of its proximity to Secc, we were attending the Good Food Show. Also as a marriott rewards member I qualified for weekend special offer, which was great value. Rooms were spacious very clean an well appointed. For a hotel that is extremely close to a major motorway a good job has been done in soundproofing, we hardly noticed it. The lounge and bar areas were very comfortable and the staff were very attentive and friendly. Dinner on the first night and breakfast on both days were included. The quality of all the food served was excellent. Staff were brilliant. All in all couldn't fault much. We will definitely return to this hotel again- soon!

Got a good rate for this standard of city center hotel. Room good size and very appointed and comfortable. Did not eat in until breakfast which was as you expect in a chain of this type but quite acceptable.

Staff very polite and informative. One niggle - parking charge is an add on to the room rate. Never had this before and it should either be included or made aware of at time of booking.

Room Tip: get a room on a higher floor to get some kind of outlook as surroundings are drab
