I am regular guest at this hotel both on business and social. The location is the main reason I only give it 4 stars it is not the most salubrious road from centre of city to hotel albeit it is only 10 mins walk from Central Station.however the staff are excellent and that applies to bar area and restaurant as well. Rooms are spacious and well appointed i prefer to book front facing room to east of hotel to minimise motorway traffic early morning.

Fantastic hotel and nicely located by junction 19 of the M8. Short walk to the centre. Very helpful and friendly staff. Lovely clean room on the tenth floor overlooking the motorway but no disturbance with any traffic noise. Fantastic hot breakfast in plentiful supply with everything you could imagine from cereals to full cooked. Bar good with a great selection and fairly reasonable for hotel prices which we were pleasantly surprised by. Lovely pool with nice clean changing area. Would definitely return.

Stayed here recently, good location, comfy beds, nice warm swimming pool, decent enough to go with the family.
Could do with a wee bit of TLC as just starting to go at the edges, however if and when it gets it's refurb, it will be a really good place.

Stayed here as we were attending concerts @ the Hydro Arena as it's within walking distance (15 min walk). Easy check in/check out system. Rooms nice and clean etc, downside no mini bar in room ,but there is ice machines located on every floor. The bathroom doesn't have a walk in shower cubical , so if you have problems stepping in and out of the bath this could be a problem.
Wifi is free in the lounge and lobby , but not in the rooms , you have to pay .
Food in lounge/bar is ok .

We have stayed at this hotel a few times due to working in the area. We came for 2 nights on 11th & 12th April. We are gold elite members and no room upgrade was available as the morning staff hadn't looked into it. It would be a good idea if the executive lounge was for adults only after a certain time, as both nights we went in and there were children messing about been very noisy. When you have been working all day you just want some piece and quite with drinks and be able to use the computers. I did complain about this at reception on check out.
The rooms are clean and lovely comfy beds. There was plenty to eat at breakfast, but it was very busy as there was a coach party in. Maybe it would be a good idea for them to be put in a a conference room to keep them all together.
The pool was lovely and warm but a little run down. The female changing rooms could do with a refurbishment.
Even though there are a few problems, we would stay here again as it is handy for our work.

Stayed at the Glasgow Marriott for one night after staying with family in northern Scotland on the way back down south. Chose this hotel for its leisure facilities only to find they were out of use on the day we were there. The pool was accessible but the sauna and steam room were not. This put a bit of a dampener on our relaxation time, but as the weather was so nice in Glasgow we decided to go for a walk along the Clyde. The rooms were generally nice but could do with a slight spruce up.

My family stayed here when going to see Dancing on Ice at the Hydro Arena on the 11th April for two nights. Very friendly check in, despite hotel being very busy at the time. Booked an executive double/double room, which was clean, tidy just wished they were a little bigger as youngest child (1yrs) got a little cabin fever. Probably the comfiest beds I have had at a hotel.

A little disappointed that alcohol was not available in the Executive Lounge Friday and Saturday, however nice to have somewhere for the kids to stretch their legs other than the room.
Went swimming both days, pool and changing area was very clean and pool was warm, perfect for the kids.

Food was good, but not great. Had room service both nights for the kids as they were cream crackered, a little wait (40min), but they did say at the time of ordering.
Lounge area was nice, bar staff were good, efficient and very polite. Breakfast was good, enjoyable......but no Glasgow rolls.......what is that all about!! Breakfast staff, again were good, efficient and very polite.

All in all, an very enjoyable stay.
