Travelling for business, on a budget, it is hard to see why anyone would not stay in a Premier Inn if available. Staff at Argyll Street were exemplary - as in every Premier Inn.

Location perfect with a great Italian Restaurant across the road if required.

Staff very polite and very helpful. Location is short walk from Central Station and 5/10 mins to Sauciehall Street and St Enochs Centre, so good for shoppoing and night life. Restaurant / Bar is nice, but definitely cheaper to eat out if on a budget. All in all good hotel, clean, nice rooms and nice staff, will stay again when in Glasgow.

Room Tip: Try not to be placed directly beside lift as can be heard ascending / descending - not end of world...

Our room was lovely and clean, the bed was massive and so comfy! They leave extra pillows for more comfort and the bedding is nice and thick too.
The staff were very friendly and told us everything we needed to know and for the price we paid for the one night it was an excellent stay.
Very central location which was excellent for us as we were going to a show at the SECC so was only a 10-15 min walk then we were able to walk 5 mins into the city centre for snacks after the show.
Parking is terrible in Glasgow but the premier inn does have a deal with a car park just a 5 min walk away. It cost £6 for 24 hours which isnt too bad considering you are in the city centre of Glasgow.

Argyle Street Glasgow Brilliant in all respects but like all Prem Inns I go to being Vegetarian Evening meals are all ways slightly under cooked or just lacking finesse always processed. Maybe being big menu others are good but I don't eat evening meals at Prem Inn though will give new ones a chance. Breakfasts are to die for heavenly! Eat as much or as little as you like with varying rates accordingly.

Get promotional rates though and I love them Would not go elsewhere. More expensive nights though (non promo rates) and being a single traveller would go Elsewhere.

wife and myself went over for weekend.arrived early but were offered a room straight away.reception staff polite and quick.have stayed here many times over many years and place hasnt changed.rooms still neat and basic while comfortable.bar area small but very quiet while food is average but ok price wise.would stay again.while waiting on taxi in lobby, the staff seemed to be refunding alot of money due to noise from night before from some football supporters in blue, but we stayed on 11th floor and it was fine as probs seemed to be on low level floors so if booking maybe ask for high level.

We stayed here for two nights recently and it was excellent value for money and in the centre of everything which is great with Central Station just a short 2 minute walk away, bars/restaurants nearby and Tesco across the road. Staff did their best to ensure we had a great stay. I highly recommend you go on the Glasgow Open Top Tour Bus which stops at the bus stops to the left of the Premier Inn as you walk out. Great Hotel, Great staff & great surroundings.

Room Tip: Preferably not on the west side of the hotel as it's directly next to a busy road, even 5 floors...
