“Good location”
Reviewed 6 August 2012 via mobile

Close to city centre but area is really quiet. Ten minute walk to main shops. Five minute walk to good restaurants. Five minutes walk to train station. Bit hard to find your way around the one way system to car park but a good satnav will sort this out

We stayed here 2 nights as part of our trip to watch Olympic football at Hampden Park. The hotel was easy to find, as was the nearby multi-storey car park (which we were able to use at a very reasonable rate) and was really convenient for all parts of the city centre and for Glasgow Central Station. Our room was comfortable, very clean and surprisingly quiet given its central location. Although there were numerous dining opportunities within walking distance, we chose to eat in the hotel restaurant after our long day at the football and found the atmosphere calm and relaxing, the food tasy and well-presented and the staff attentive and pleasant. We will definitely use this hotel again if we are in Glasgow in the future.

Stayed here for 5 nights with my 13 year old daughter. Have previously stayed at other Premier Inns in Glasgow and Edinburgh. This hotel is central and within walking distance of the two main railway stations - Queen Street and Central. The area surrounding this hotel is a bit tatty looking but we had no problems walking around. There are 7 floors to this hotel and we were on the 4th. There was no noise problem. We had breakfast here everyday and there was the usual selection - guests can choose from continental or full scottish. We didnt have dinner here. Our room wasnt ready when we arrived but the hotel was quite happy to store our luggage until it was ready so we could explore for the afternoon.

The location is central. Staff extremely friendly. Bar area good. Rooms very small. Found a hair under the duvet. Everything was screwed down, even the base of the kettle. Would not reccomend this to anyone.

Room Tip: Choose another hotel.

Staff were very friendly. Room was very clean and comfortable - it had everything we needed for our stay. We were offered breakfast at a discount which we took, and I must say it was delicious. No cheap cuts of meat, proper bacon & sausages. The hotel was in a great location, just off the beaten track, but all the shops are within easy walking distance.
