“Very helpful staff!”
Reviewed 2 January 2013

Location was very central, staff very helpful - rooms were basic but clean, and really good value (I booked a special offer of £19/night). I lost my mobile and the staff were helpful in letting me make a few calls from reception.

Car parking is £6 for 24 hours in an adjacent Public car park, which was reasonable. Wi-fi signal wasn't great, so didn't use the complimentary 30 minutes (it's only £3 for 24 hours, which is usually good value).

I arrived on the 28th December for one week and asked the receptionist Cheryl for a quiet room, she was a lovely girl, very friendly and helpful, she gave me 524 which is brilliant, lovely and clean. It's so peaceful i don't hear a thing day or night. The chambermaid cleans the room brilliantly, Danny the barman/ waiter couldn't do enough for me, he was genuinely concerned that I was happy with the meal and the Asst.. Duty Manager who I think was called Zara was also concerned that I enjoyed my meal and the accommodation. The hotel is located near Central Station and the main shopping areas of Glasgow. There are inexpensive eateries all around and the hotel's abundant supply of tea, coffee, milk and sugar.are great. Great comfortable bed, nice tv with freeview and free 30 mins. per day wi-fi.I would recommend this to anybody.

Room Tip: Ask for room 524, there is no noise whatsoever.

We stayed here as a last minute night away. Very central location, the rooms very clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and very helpful. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed and the bar closed early, disappointing but understandable given that it was Xmas night. The hotel is ideal for exploring the centre and is very close to some very good restaurants and bars. Would definitely stay here again when I'm back in Glasgow

My wife and I were in Glasgow for two nights in the week before Christmas, with shopping and a concert on the agenda.

We arrived on an early flight and after a quick bus journey from the airport into Glasgow we had a 5 minute walk to the hotel.

We had hoped to be able to leave our cases off, but a very helpful and pleasant member staff (Susi ?) was able to offer us a room immediately. This allowed us to sort our belongings and have a freshen up before heading into the city.

The hotel is located less than 5 minutes from Central Station and is ideally situated for shopping, local attractions, eateries and all transport links.

The hotel was very clean, warm and, even though we had a room overlooking the busy Argyle Street, very quiet.

We would definitely use the hotel again when we return to Glasgow.

I stayed here for a night with my boyfriend so we could have some dinner, drinks and a relaxing night away.
The location is very convenient and even though it's in the city centre, there is very little noise from the room.

Hotel staff were friendly enough and check in was nice and easy, didn't really have to ask for much but they seemed willing to help with anything we did ask.

The only downfall of the place is the restaurant service. The food was lovely and it was very quiet so we had no problem getting a table but the waiter at dinner was not the most pleasant and was never on hand when we needed him. Also, the drinks were quite expensive compared to other restaurants in the area.
I would suggest to eat at one of the many other restaurants in Glasgow rather than the one in the hotel.

But overall, another fab stay at another Premier Inn and highly reccommended as with every Premier Inn I've stayed at.

Clean average size room near glasgow central station. Free wifi 30minutes per day. Near bus stop for sightseeing. Breakfast includes fruits, cereals , eggs, sausage, bacon, bread, yogurt, juice and coffee. It could be better if they provide free unlimited wifi.
