We were just looking for somewhere to lay our heads down after a concert we were going to in Glasgow so that we didn't have to drive back to Livingston. Hotel is very centrally placed and is of usual Premier Inn standard. Room size was ok, bathroom maybe a bit small but as I had only paid £19 I wasn't going to complain. Bed was very comfy. We ate in the hotel restaurant. It was very quiet being a Sunday night. The quality of the food was excellent and prices very reasonable. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a deal with a nearby car park (about 100yds walk away). You can park for 24hrs for £6. An absolute bargain in Glasgow city centre.

This hotel comprising of seven floors is situated just a few minutes walk from Glasgow Central Station, the Airport Shuttle Bus Stops and the shops in Argyle Street. Buchanan Street and Sauchiehall Street take just a little bit longer to reach. The tourist bus stops in Argyle Street very close to the hotel and the hotel will provide £1 vouchers if you haven't already pre-booked your trip.

My room on the seventh floor, as was the hotel itself, was spotlessly clean my only 'gripe' being that the window would have benefited from Double Glazing!

The staff were fabulous and although I don't usually mention specific members I must on this occasion say that Sheryl on Reception should be given special praise for what she did for us. If this lass isn't already on a Management Course with Premier Inns then, in my opinion, she should be.

I stayed here for one night with my teenage daughter. The hotel is very close to the train station and was easy to find. We felt safe walking back to the hotel at night.
The rooms are just what you'd expect from a Premier Inn, and we had a room facing a side street so traffic noise was minimal for such a central location. The room was a little cool so we used the additional heater.
Breakfast in the morning was plentiful and as children eat free the cost was fine for us. The waiting staff were very good and the restaurant was clean and comfortable.
When we left we were able to leave our case in the left luggage for a couple of hours, which was very useful.

Having stayed in a number of Premier Inns over the years, the quality never changes. Once you shut the curtains you could be in Lands End or John O Groats. I stayed in this Premier Inn as i was at a show in Glasgow with my better half and decided it woould be good to stay over in Glasgow rather than go home on the last train. Had a great sleep. All in all its good value.

Room Tip: Try to avoid a room overlooking Argyll St. It can be a bit noisy with the windows open

I have stayed at this hotel on business on a number of occassions and found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Only critism I have is the heating in the rooms needs updating as the units seem to blow cold more than hot, however obviously the management are aware of the problem and small portable heaters are supplied in each room
Food in the resturaunt is really good with a good choice available again service can be slow if there mort
more than 6 people eating, wouldnt like to see the wait if they were really busy
All in All excellent place to stay
will be there often with work

Hotel is in a good location, close enough to walk to central station & shops, weatherspoons/tesco close by too.
We booked 2 rooms and these were allocated next door to eachother. On entering the first room we found it had not been cleaned - the bed was slept in and there were takeaway boxes on the table.
Reception quickly allocated us another room which was 2 floors higher. I was concerned as it was right next to the lifts & i have read on some reviews that the rooms close to the lifts were noisy - we could hear them a little but did not find it a problem.
We did however have to call reception later that evening for spare pillows which were supposed to be provided in the wardrobe but were not there. Again, they quickly brought them up for us.
The room our friends were in was very cold. They had a staff member show them how to work the heater and left it on to warm the room whilst we went for dinner. On return the room was still very cold so reception had a spare heater sent up to them, the staff member also commented on the room being unusually cold. They did not have a great night as it did not seem to warm up at all.
I have contacted Premier Inn regarding the problems but have not had a response as yet.
In summary, the hotel is in a good location and staff are helpful & friendly, we would stay again despite the issues we encountered.
