Stayed here for 2 nights whilst visiting friends in Glasgow. No self check in but check in was efficient.
We stayed in room 514 and I did think we would have problems as the room was very very close to the lifts and overlooked a busy main road but no noise was heard. The heating is as others have said very old and very nosey but we switched it off at bed time and the room was fine without it.
The hotel isn't the newest and was previously another hotel so not as up-to date as other premier inn in the city but depending on the price you can't go wrong.
Breakfast was as always very good.
The bar area was very small and not the best but again service was good and staff were friendly.
We paid around £80 for the 2 nights which were a Friday & sat in Dec so we can not grumble.
Location was great for shops, pubs and restaurants only moments from the centre of everything.
Would stay again but only if cheaper than the better George square premier inn.

Nice to be able to actually get a PI room at the £29 rate for a change. Ideally located to get anywhere in Glasgow pretty easily with reasonably priced parking available.
Room a reasonable size and bed comfy enough for a good nights sleep. Disturbed by some noisy guests in the corridor, but that isn't hotels fault. Cleanliness okay and staff helpful.
No complaints so will stay again, especially if the rooms are readily available at the bargain rate.

Convenient location, less than 10 minutes walk from Central station. Friendly and helpful staff and room fine - bed enormous and comfortable. Only snag was the noise from the heating unit fan. However it warmed the room up pretty quickly, so could then be turned off. For £29 a night, no complaints.

Stayed here on 27th November, very friendly staff. Rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. Very well situated for shopping in Glasgow centre and less than a mile from The Hydro if you are going to a gig.

First impressions of downstairs was it was a typical premier inn. Came up to the room and as soon as we walked in i smelt what i described as wet feet.. as the night went on i realised it smelt more like dampness in the bathroom. Not pleasant at all. Heating is so noisy that i had to turn it off! I had booked a double room well in advance and it turned out to be what seemed like 2 single mattresses zipped together. Most uncomfy bed ive ever slept in. Will not be returning to this premier inn. Will stick to the one next to buchanan galleries.

Hotel was clean, comfy beds, near to city centre. We were in back room with no view but only there to sleep or rest! Gordon, the night barman, was lovely, very friendly and chatty to everyone in the bar. All the staff seemed to be friendly, although we didn't use the restaurant. One thing tho,...it would help if you were told you needed your key card to operate the lift!! Took us and another couple a while to work out how to get to our rooms. No help from the reception staff either..... Apart from that, we enjoyed our stay!

Room Tip: Go to third or above floor as bar and restaurant on first floor.
