I can't speak to the value if the hotel, as I was here on a tour. It was a standard average business hotel. Really good location, but it could have been cleaner. There were some dirty corners and the furniture is looking old and tired. I would probably choose a different hotel. But I wasn't terribly disappointed. Really just average.

Very pleasant friendly staff, late check out free of charge due to late check in. Room quite dusty coffee machine didn't work, beds like hospital beds for an executive room, sofa bed was better. not a four star, breakfast to expensive (for choice!). But good location for all shopping eating etc. staff were fantastic.

Although we stayed in the Novotel when the Commonwealth Games were on and when Glasgow and its hotels were perhaps different from that which you would experience during an average summer stay, the Novotel was a quiet place.
It came across as an efficient hotel, great for business travellers but somehow not part of the mainstream activities going on in the city. I felt a bit sorry that their dining areas were not busier as their service, their staff and food quality were excellent. It just felt a bit flat.

Stayed for conference. Great hotel, the bedroom was nice with a high level of cleaniness. Great bathroom with a decent shower. The Breakfast buffet is a must yummy!! Service in the bar was good. Close to shopping, pubs and restaurants. Ten minutes walk from main train station.

The Novotel in Pitt Street, Glasgow has been a regular stay for me since joining a company with nearby HQ. Having said that, it soon became clear that I had chosen very well. The hotel is really well situated for loads of friendly local bars & nice restaurants, with many more located just a short walk down into the centre of Glasgow. If you're hoping to do some shopping, then again, this is also located nearby. Another big advantage is it's location close to .. but not affected by .. the M8. This is the main motorway through Glasgow. It's also worth asking the hotel receptionists for guidance and deals available to hotel guests on quite a few restaurants offering different styles .. up to 15% in some cases. There is a car park, available on a first come, first served basis so it's worth trying to check in early to secure one. Late check-outs are also available but this should be confirmed prior to your stay if at all possible.
The staff are all really friendly and they truly made me feel very welcome and like a valued regular. Not that common these days.

Room Tip: All the rooms are good.

Had a great stay for three nights. Very helpful and friendly staff. Good breakfasts, the automatic pancake machine was a hot with my 10 year old. Easy to access the city plenty of bus routes from stops 5 min or less away.

Easy walk into the centre but also enjoyed the visit to Kelvingrove Gallery.

The Novotel Glasgow Central is everything you would expect from a Novotel - nothing more and nothing less. Whilst not right in the heart of the action, the location is fine, about a ten minute walk from the main train station.

Rooms were comfortable without being luxurious - arrived late and left early so cant really comment on the staff, other than the check in guy was friendly. Overall a good place to put the head down after a long day of work.
