the hotel magnificent! the food magnificent! the rooms magnificent! the location magnificent!
the staff!!!!!! well what we can say about the staff???? Melita the receptionist sooo helpful,
benjamin the waiter sooo helpful, lynda the super woman breakfast waitress went the extra mile or two, the staff whosE name we didn't take a note of were all so friendly, and helped us get about the city of glasgow (especially the bars with beer gardens!!!!)
now what can we say about WAYNE?????? from the minute we arrived he took us under his wing and looked after us like a mother hen!!!! he opened the bar for us as soon as we arrived and we were never refused service til we left!!! what a man!!!! WE WILL BE BACK!!!!!!! sorry about the rate for sleep quality as it was our own fault about the sleep!!! we didn't want to miss a single moment sleeping! can we advise that if you are in town late at night you MUST get a rickshaw back!! ask for michael or owen from ballymena hey! that is the funniest thing instead of a taxi!

Good central location, fresh new hotel with friendly and helpful staff. No hesitation to recommend to others. May need to improve breakfast to maintain the high standards of the rest of the hotel.

I stayed at Hotel Indigo Glasgow last week when I was up in Glasgow from London on business, the location suited me as I had meetings throughout the day in the nearby financial district.

I picked Indigo primarily for it's central location but now I'm a member of 'Priority Club' & can gain 5000 points every time I stay at Hotel Indigo Glasgow, I think that I will be using it much more.

As a seasoned traveller, it was a delight to find that Hotel Indigo Glasgow is more in tune with the 'Indigo' concept in the USA hotels unlike the 2 properties down in London (both which I have stayed in since 2010)

From check in to check out, the experience was very smooth, my bedroom was on the top floor & the finish of the fixtures & fittings reminded me of Blake's Hotel in Rolland Gardens, South Kensington.

All the staff were very informative when talking to me about the history of the building which was the original electric powerhouse in Glasgow 150 years ago & lay empty for 5 or 6 years before the reconstruction began for the new Hotel.
The Art within the Hotel reflects 'The Glasgow Story' landscapes of the wonderful Glasgow skyline & 25 heros to 25 up & coming artists from the city adorn the walls in the almost decadent surroundings of The Limelight Bar & Grill (there's also a mural in the bar where 20 Glaswegians who have lived their life in the Limelight look down on you whilst you sip your Vesper Martini or Grand Marque House Champagne @ £30 a bottle)

Glaswegian rock groups supply the music in the public areas, which is a great touch.

The food & drinks are both very reasonably priced & the Restaurant is nothing like the poor examples of cuisine available within the 2 London properties located at Tower Hill or Paddington.

The Full Scottish Breakfast with square sausage & a thing known locally as a 'totty scone' wee right up my street as I love food that 'sticks to the ribs' but I did notice a large continental selection on the nearby buffet table that some healthy types might go for?

Overall I rate this Hotel very highly & the best 1 that I have stayed in Glasgow, so in the words of Arnie "I will be back"

Thank you for this fantastic review. I have already taken the opportunity to share your comments with the entire team.

As a Priority Club member who has experienced the Indigo Brand before I am pleased that the hotel did not disappoint. Having commissioned local artist to provide the art work for the hotel we are really pleased that guests are enjoying the paintings on display. Information booklets regards the paintings and artists are available from reception and I hope you are able to take avail of this on your next visit.

I look forward to welcoming you back to the hotel in the not too distant future.

This is a brand new boutique hotel in the financial centre of the city and is just a 2 minute walk from Glasgow Central Station and only a few minutes walk from the main shopping streets of the city. The hotel has been converted from a 19th century building and has just 94 bedrooms and is immaculately furnished with lots of artwork displayed throughout.
We arrived in early afternoon and we were immediately impressed with the internal decoration of the hotel. Check-in was quickly and efficiently handled by a very friendly member of the reception team. Our room was on the 3rd floor and overlooked the front of the building. The room was exceptionally well furnished throughout with sufficient hanging and storage space. The ensuite bathroom had a large walk-in shower.
A complimentary minibar was available to us in our room. Additionally complimentary internet access is available to guests throughout the stay.
In the evening we had an enjoyable meal in the hotels` Limelight Restaurant. We found the sevice in the restaurant to be attentive, friendly without being intrusive.
Breakfast the following morning was also taken in the Limelight Restaurant.
Parking is available in the Glasgow Q Park Multi Storey Car Park which is situated immediately next to the hotel. There is discounted parking available to hotel guests of £7.75 for up to 24 hours parking. Guests must present the parking ticket to hotel reception on checking out of the hotel in order to obtain the discount.
This was our very first stay at any Hotel Indigo and we have been extremely impressed with the standards in the hotel and our stay exceeded our expectations.
We will hopefully return again to the hotel at some stage and would have no hesitation in recommending the hotel to anyone visiting the city.

Had a wonderful time in this hotel..so much so that it was at times hard to leave to see the actual Glasgow.....really I could just have stayed and viewed the many paintings and prints of places and people and stayed in the friendly and fun atmosphere. The hotel staff were so friendly and helpful about where to go and how to get there (taxis were cheap with 6 of us..although many catered for only 5 but if you get the disco cab ...well that was just amazing fun) we did finally manage to remove ourselves from the colourful, comfy and well equipped bar. New hotels and of course sometimes old ones are not without problems and our electric went out on the first night but it was handled efficiently and well and we were moved to our new room promptly ....even my bra was delivered from the dark room the next morning with discretion. Just want to say a special thank you to Wayne the manager who made us laugh and put up with our antics...to Lynda the breakfast waitress for coping under so much pressure after everyone in the hotel descended for breakfast at the same time (Wonderwoman) and to Benjamin and Sher for their attentiveness and help....but to all of you staff of Hotel Indigo thank you for the most brilliant weekend...keep up the good work! Btw food was fantastic in Limelight Grill ....highly recommended.
