“Favourite hotel of our trip!”
Reviewed 14 October 2013

Hotel Indigo Glasgow should be the standard for all hotels. We thoroughly enjoyed our say there and hope to find other hotels from Indigo in our future travels!
No matter where I stay, service is so important to me. Here, the front desk greeted us with a smile, and each question and request was received and handled with professionalism and ease.
The location is great - only steps from Glasgow Central train station, which means you can check in to your hotel within minutes of your train's arrival. We also walked to the main shopping areas of Buchanan Street and Sauchiehall Street in no more than 5 minutes. Glasgow is relatively walkable in general, and Hotel Indigo is quite central,
The rooms are beautiful! They are modern, yet homey, and make the experience feel very special. While our room was not huge, the high ceilings and smart décor made us feel very comfortable. The bed was perfect, the pillows were great and the overall aesthetic of the room was very appealing. The view of the street was even interesting!
The washroom was one of my favourite parts. It felt very chic and luxurious and the rain shower was a treat!
One negative: The closet space was minimal. I had to ask for more hangers, but they brought the right away!
Overall, I loved this hotel and my husband and I would recommend it to anyone. The right location, price, service and comfort that you could hope for in a hotel. Great job Hotel Indigo!

Room Tip: In any hotel, I always ask for a quiet room (and an upgrade, if possible!). Our room was on a corner...

Just returned from weekend break at this hotel with my daughter and granddaughter.
Service was amazing, nothing too much trouble for all staff.Room was large enough for us all to share and very peaceful considering where the hotel is located.IT is only a short walk away from all the shopping areas and a short taxi from both stations if you have luggage.
We had breakfast both mornings in the hotel and service once again excellent., Good variety of continental breakfast and cooked breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed by all!
Cher on the desk was especially helpful and chatted with my young grandaughter every day.
So good location, great service, nice rooms, great breakfast. Bit pricy but it is Glasgow!Look for offers as definately worth a visit.

Room Tip: We were on 3rd floor and extremely quiet. had ice making machine outside room but only minor noise...

Stayed for 1 night in a family room with two queen beds. Good size for us and was really nicely decorated with nice little touches like free wifi and some complimentary drinks and snacks in mini fridge. Bathroom was great, nice toiletries. Great location, just a wee walk to shops and car park adjacent to hotel with discounted parking. The only thing that let this fab hotel down was the breakfast. We felt it tasted a little cheap, quality could have been better.

Had an excellent stay there, would definitely consider staying there again and would also recommend it to others, I found the rooms to be modern, very well decorated and spacious, The hotel had a nice spacious bar and lounge to relax in, and the location is 2nd to none for some city centre shopping

Stayed 1 night for work recently. Location was excellent - 5 minutes walk from Glasgow Central train station. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Room wasn't huge, but adequate and felt newly refurbished. Wifi worked well. Would have liked more lighting in the room - but that's just my personal preference.

Had the market/set menu for dinner. Food was well executed but portions a little small for me. Breakfast was good. Tried the Glaswegian cooked breakfast - decent poached eggs & bacon. However, lorne sausage was a bit bland to me. Continental buffet spread had small but adequate selection.

Will definitely return at some point in the future.

I loved the Indigo Glasgow. We were weary after 11 days of action packed touring through England and Scotland and when walking into the foyer, we were optimistic. Opening the door to the room was a delight and an excitement--it far surpassed the other stops on our journey, which were all more than adequate in themselves. The trendy up to date decor and the beautiful comfy beds were a sight to behold. The bath products were quality, and the shower was huge with a rainfall spout and a handheld. The mini bar with complimentary snacks was a real nice touch. Breakfast was also included even thought we didn't purchase it. The business centre was great with free printing so we could go down and print off our boarding passes. Location was very convenient, close to central station and to the shopping and pub areas. It was clean, friendly and convenient.

We paid a 20 GBP fee from the hotel to the airport, however there were easy transit options in front of the hotel as well.

I will be going back to Glasgow again for longer next time. And, I will undoubtedly be staying at this hotel.
