“Very comfortable, clean and quiet”
Reviewed 24 November 2013

We've spent 3 nights here and we're very impressed with this hotel. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the bed is so comfortable. Towels are changed every day (even though we'd be happy with the green option). Free wi-fi. There's nothing else you need. The breakfast is included for us (depends on the deal you get) and it too is very good.
Great location, only 5 minute walk from central station which then leads you to the main shopping area.
I would recommend and would return.

The Autumn Indulgence break (2 nights B & B plus dinner on one night) @ £128 per night was excellent value.
The hotel lives up to its write-up on the website - colourful and interesting design, friendly and efficient service from all the staff, excellent quality all round.
We ate from the Market menu for dinner and found the quality of the food to be far better than usually found on set menus and in hotel restaurants.
The location is perfect - easy walking to anywhere in the city centre but especially handy for Glasgow Central station & the bus stops for the airport shuttle bus.

Room Tip: Stayed in an executive room on the third floor at the rear which was exceptionally quiet for a city...

Stayed in this hotel with 19 year old daughter for one night. Beautiful hotel with stylish décor and very smart young to middle aged clientele, BUT would never stay here again due to room layout. Our room had two queen sized beds but there must only have been little over a foot between bottom of bed and the wall giving a cramped, corridor-like feel to room. What I really disliked though was the fact there was only one bedside table which was centred between the two beds. This was just not good especially as one of us wanted to read before going to sleep and the other didn't and this caused problems with only one bedsight light between the beds. I woke up in middle of night and freaked out a bit as I could not switch the lamp on to read to help me back to sleep. Also wardrobe, mini bar, hospitality tray etc on wall which was at side of daughter's bed and only a foot away from bed. No space and very awkward to access. Also the wall mounted TV directly faced one of the beds and would have been better centred between both. Bathroom lovely though and cooked breakfast beautifully presented but lack of other breakfast items on buffet. I do not even know if there were fresh fruit or yogurt. Because we had to go back to the hotel for our cases in the early evening of the day we booked out, we had dinner there. Dining room lovely and again food beautifully presented but not much choice and on the pricey side. Staff at both breakfast and dinner very pleasant though.

Room Tip: I cannot recommend the rooms with two queen beds as layout bizarre.

A very comfortable hotel in the centre of Glasgow.
The restaurant food was very good, room very comfortable and staff were attentive and efficient.
Careful if you decide to drink in the bar - drinks prices are a little eye watering!!
nevertheless a very friendly place to spend some time with friends.
Car parking is in a multi-story next door - bit expensive!
All in all it was a very comfortable stay.

I'm a big fan of the Indigo brand, and this one did not disappoint. The lovely girls at Reception (Cher and Kerry if I remember correctly) provided a fantastic friendly welcome, and plenty of tips as it was my first visit to Glasgow. The room was stunning. The only negatives would be the breakfast experience. The buffet was quite limited, and for a hotel of this standard to not serve loose leaf tea is quite surprising.

First experience of hotel indigo and was impressed. Modern, comfortable and well designed with nice, friendly staff. IHG platinum acknowledged with wifi, points and an upgrade, full marks there. Bar staff pleasant and an excellent glass of Malbec.

Room not huge, but very comfortable. No bath, but large rain fall shower and good toiletries. Complimentary mini bar with snacks a lovely surprise.

Cooked breakfast very good, same chap (manager) on at 6:30am as at the restaurant the night before and was still very friendly and certainly more awake than me.

Very handy for Glasgow Central station, if had to pick niggles my room (516) could have done with a bit more oompth in water pressure (and drain cover in the shower) and despite a sizeable 'hall', a peg to hang my coat. Small things though and would definitely return.

My partner and I came here for the second time for my birthday, we stayed in a suite on the top floor, the room itself was very spacious and had modern decor, the bed is very large and extremely comfortable and has a well stocked minibar...

The reception staff were very friendly, the reason I have deducted a star this time is due the bar staff, what a horrible man he was, after being out to a Thai restaurant for dinner we returned and were going to have a few drinks I asked him if he could make a cocktail that they had advertised previously and he basically said we couldn't afford it!! So cheeky we couldn't believe it if we can afford a suite then I can afford to drink in your bar!! Anyway we then chose not to drink in their and took our custom elsewhere.

I still would recommend the Indigo as it is a handy location and fairly quite at night and as I said very comfortable rooms and the majority of the staff are lovely.
