“Be aware of deposit”

I have been accommodated in hotel Indigo in May 2014. When I came, the hotel authorised my credit card of deposit for potencial damage and extras. After I left the hotel the deposit should be released within 10 days, BUT, it is almost 30 days from the moment I left the hotel, and the deposit is still blocked on my bank account. Even after the hotel has already asked it´s bank to release the amount several times, the amount is still blocked.

Two of us stayed in this hotel for one night in a twin bedded room. As others have mentioned, the staff was friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is great for walking about the city.

As others have noted, the WIFI was virtually non-existent. One minute it would appear and then be gone. If this is important to you, you should make other arrangements.

The room was clean, the beds comfortable, and the bath quite nice. The problem in the twin bedded room was space. While I certainly wasn't expecting a suite, I was expecting enough room for each of us to place our suitcase. The only place was on the floor so we would have to walk around them to go to the door, the bath, or to bed.

I'm sure singles would do just fine in these rooms, or two persons sharing a double bed, but unless you have little luggage or don't mind doing a bit of "climbing" in you room, this may not the best for those who need two bedded rooms.

I spent 3 days on business. Found reception staff very helpful. The hotel is newly renovated with excellent finish. However, if you are going to book please have a very low expectation of breakfast as not only it is very limited, but also everything on the breakfast table is cheap and nasty.
There is some inferior quality sliced bread with nothing else, no roles or different bread types. The juices are sugary and taste disgusting. There is a small plate of horrible meets, and cheap cheeses that best left alone. The fruit salad had a nasty metallic taste and was not fresh at all. There are some packets of cheap cereals. If you order soft boiled eggs they come hard as rock! Somebody somewhere has made a total hash of the breakfast menu either that or they are trying to economize.
I will not be booking again as I appreciate attention to details and a quality breakfast, which is obviously totally lacking in the Indigo. I hope the manager takes notice and improves the situation.

This may be the first time that we have stay at a hotel and could not fault it in any way. From walking into the lobby and being met by Kerry and allowed to go straight to our room be that we were two hours earlier. Once in the room it was very well set up with a excellent bathroom with a large walk in shower and a king size bed that felt very comfortable. The room also had block out currents and an excellent AC that was quiet in operation, the fridge and tea making facilities were also good and included filter coffee which was an excellent touch. I requested a bathrobe and an extra towel that arrived with in 10 minutes. We only stay for one night which was on the 24th of May which was the Saturday of the bank holiday but we both wished that we stayed for several more. We also asked if we could have a late check out which we got an extra hour which was much appreciated. On checking out Kerry was back on and asked how we enjoyed our stay, this Lady was very professional and I would say must be a great team member for the hotel.
We did not eat at the hotel as I wanted to go to local little restaurant and taste some local foods, but in saying that the hotel restaurant looked very inviting.

Brilliant central location. Train station close by and airport shuttle bus drives past the front door. How convenient is that? Met by cheery staff at reception in a very stylish foyer/lounge area. Décor throughout the hotel is fresh and bedrooms are very welcoming and comfortable with modern amenities including complementary soft drinks and confectionery in the mini bar. En-suite shower room is a good size and very clean. Enjoyed a very satisfying nights sleep.
Opted for an early cooked breakfast in our room. Oh dear.......how disappointing. Eggs overcooked yet sausage grossly undercooked. Sympathetic and apologetic reception staff responded by providing a discount on our final bill. Decided to play safe the second morning and opted for a continental breakfast in our room. Unfortunately it was bland and unimaginative.
Would I stay here again? Yes. Breakfast? Hotel Indigo should learn from the nearby Radisson Blu how breakfasts should be served.

A really nice hotel in a central location. I've stayed at the hotel a couple of times whilst on business in Glasgow. The themes running through the hotel are nice and refreshing compared to the normal bland interiors at other hotels.

The rooms are clean and spacious and come stocked with complimentary mini bar. The shower is fantastic as us the comfortable bed.

There is a car park across the road which is convenient. The reception and bar staff were friendly and attentive. I never experienced any issues with breakfast as I left quite early so was fairly quiet. When I did eat it was fine.

Location is within walking distance of many bars and restaurants. Access to central station is also in walking distance.

I would definitely stay at the hotel again.

We stayed at Hotel Indigo for 3 nights in May 2014 and were thoroughly pleased with everything. The room and bathroom were clean, comfortable, and spacious. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for our sightseeing needs and convenient to the bus and train stations. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Glasgow.
