“Door staff ruin an otherwise good place.”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 March 2014 via mobile

We came here on Sunday night after a day spent at art gallery and shops by me and football match (no drinking allowed during game). We were both sober yet door man said you can't get in! Confused I assumed there must be a private function on and asked was this the case- to be told my partners 'eyes looked glazed'. We assured him we were stone cold sober and he apologised and let us in. Hungry and tired after a day on feet we ate here but I'd never return again after the bizzare start.

“Awful”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 March 2014 via mobile

This is a good looking bar inside. Don't go in large group as the bouncers apparently don't like large groups of people. The attitude of the bouncer was shocking on a Saturday night.

“Pretty damn good !!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 February 2014

Love Bunker. Food is excellent and on Monday's all mains are £5.00 with 2 starters and/or 2 desserts being £5.00 also. Food is fresh, tasty and great value - even at full price!! Staff are friendly and attentive. The sticky toffee pudding is not to be missed!!! Best i have ever tasted!! Go try it....you won't regret it!!!

“Goood! ”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 February 2014 via mobile

Often go to bunker bar for "pre-drinks". Good atmosphere, good seating (if you can get a bath), drinks are a little on the expensive side but it's a nice place with a good mood:) never had a problem with door staff! They've always been nice! I recommend.

“Food - Excellent, Very loud, Staff - half grumpy, half smiley”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 February 2014

Not off to the best start as the door man was not very pleasant on arrival. We were asked about 10 questions before being let in. Luckily we had booked ourselves a table for dinner and that appeared to be the reason we were let in.
We were then approached by a not so happy waitress who directed us to our table.
We ordered ourselves some of the cheaper cocktails (about £3.95 per drink)...and they did taste a bit on the cheap side.
Food was excellent. There was a large variety of choices from nachos/ chicken strips/ soup/ haggis & black pudding balls (i think) etc. And also the mains sandwiches, burgers, wraps, pasta, pizza, fajitas etc. We never quite made it on to desert as the portions for the starters and mains were that big.
The music around was a bit loud considering it was only 6:30 and the majority of people were there for dinner
