“Great city Park”
Reviewed 14 October 2011

Was here with the Free Glasgow walking tour and our guide took us through the park and told us about its History, "The oldest park in europe" He told us about the hangings and riots that have taken place in this park, We also visited the botanical gardens and The fountain. Such a lovely part of the city. Highly recommend a visit here, especially on a sunny day. We liked it so much we went back the next day and walked through the park again and had lunch in the Botanical garden.

Worth a visit!!!

“Glasgow at it's very best”
Reviewed 27 August 2011

Visited for first time attending World Pipe Band Championships. Great venue which shows Glasgow, it's hospitality and it's people at it's best. Credit may be due to the park or the organizers of the event, either way, well run, very clean event.

Glasgow Green is so well laid out and the beautifully designed 'directional circle' with the arrows to each of the points of interest was interesting.

Must venture back to take in the People's Palace and would encourage people to visit, including folk like me who live relatively locally and have never ventured in to this Glasgow gem.

“Glasgow Green Entertainment”
Reviewed 10 February 2003

I was there for the world pipe band championships 2001 and it was great, well kept park with great scottish, irish, and Canadian bands. The actual area around it is quite nice and the parks near it are like nothing i've seen here in Canada. This place is recommended for the whole family.
