We arrived at t the Hotel to a lovely warm welcome.
We were checked in promtly taken to lovely back twin room (beds very comfy and room very clean). Diane who was so helpful and could not do enough for us during our 2 nights stay, booking restuarants giving us bus Information and vouchers for the tour bus £1 pound of each person which is worth a trip on and last 2 days, she was there giving us any information we requested.
The breakfast was cooked to order very tasty and serviced fast it set us up for the day .
We will be back at this hotel and recommend it to our family and friends as it was like home from home also in a nice area in walking distance to everthing.

I was looking for a comfortable, affordable hotel for a 13 night stay, and was completely satisfied with the Kelvingrove. The staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful, and the service at breakfast was always great. Food was excellent. My room was clean and comfortable -- really appreciated the coffee and tea in the room. Wi-fi was always available. Love the location, close to Kelvingrove Park and Kelvingrove Museum. Just a pleasant longish walk to City Centre, and there's a bus stop right in front of the hotel. The Hunterian Gallery and the Botanic Gardens are also within easy walking distance.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the courtyard are quieter

We picked this hotel because of its location and the fact we were having a spa treatement nearby. Location was great for bars and restaurants also and staff were suberb finding us a Greek restauant just accross the road. Would definately recommend the hotels and also the spa which was on royal terrace (can't remember the name)

Room Tip: We stayed in room 19. Was a good size

We stayed in a family room on the basement level, the room was very spacious, clean, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was also a good size. The room rate was more than reasonable.
Diane the receptionist was a very lovely and welcoming host. Breakfast was made to order and served promptly and was of a good quality.
The hotel is situated in a great part of the City and there are a number of fantastic bars and restaurants surrounding it without it being too noisy at night.
We really enjoyed our stay and have booked to come again in October!

We have been to kelvingrove hotel last weekend. We feel more like family than guests. Hotel is well kept and staff is friendly and outstanding. The rooms are lovely, spacious ,equipped with nice furniture and LCD TVs.The reception and breakfast room is bright and modern. Breakfast was excellent - lots to choose from and all you can eat - cereal, boiled eggs, bread, ham, cheese, mushrooms, tomatoes, tea, coffee, cranberry juice, orange juice. The WiFi internet connection is available in rooms with good signal strength. The hotel is in a very good location...a couple of minutes walk from city centre . Everything is within walking distance and many good eating establishments close by.
